I have a 3000psi 88ci PMI tank and it just today started leaking I realized it just now and it never did this before. It leaks from the guage where it tells the pressure. it is coming from the little hole on the side of the guage. I dont know what to do. please help

are you sure its from the hole and not around the threads?

try dabbing some soapy water on the guage and see where it bubbles....

if its the threads add some loctite or teflon tape

if its the guage, im thinking ur gonna need a new one.

so there's a hole in the plastic cover on the gauge? you'll need a new gauge.

If it's something as easy as the thread area then you can just pull the gauge and redo the loc-tite and thread sealant etc.

it's not a crack on the plastic but there is a small hole in the metal I dont know what it is for and is leaking

sounds like it's time to replace the gauge

I have a PMI 4500 psi 68 ci tank and it leaked out of that little hole on the gauge too. I had only had it for about two weeks and had to replace the gauge. So people planning on buying PMI preset tanks beware.
