contact Warped, according to their website the Select Fire board is still available for $60. I'd call to make sure tho.

That's the Zip Chip notice the 2 DIP switches next to the large blue plastic pice...yours should have the DIP switches if it's the Zip Chip
and yes this is agood board. It's the board that came stock in my Dark LED almost 4 years ago, and I've had ZERO problems with it.

i had a Gabriel board on my LED. It was easy to change modes. It's a matter of holding down the trigger when u flip the switch to ON.

and also gabriel boards are NOT tourney legal ... kinda sucks. Just go wth the select fire board i had one in my LED and had no problem. PLus its just a board you never use the diff modes anyways. With my LCD i have never used it in anything else than semi

yea i mean the only reason i want it is to if there a better performing board or equal performing board to the stock board, just with different firing modes. i mean i never had a gun with full-auto so i always miss out on those full-auto allowed games. alrigt so does anyone know anywhere that i can get one for cheaper than 60 bucks?(the select fire board) thanks

Cobra it's not gonna hurt you, just leave it alone. If you're happy with it in Semi then you've got no reason to open the grip (except to maybe mess with the ROF). You aren't going to get any different performance from a SOB vs ZipChip

I was wondering... Has the Zip Chip ever come standard with the LED or was it always an aftermarket? I know of someone that bought it with it in there...

the ZIP chip became standard after the first batch of angels had boards that would stop working in the heat. So if the angel is after serial# 3000 you should have had one come in the marker.

It was my understanding that boards with other fire modes ARE still legal, as long as they can be locked out.
KM2 offers a special should the ruling pass that semi only capable boards are the only one you can use. Check out www.exarin.com for info.
