What could be improved??

when i was in the dead box today looking at my angel i thought dang i need to get me some ups...then i thought what could possibly be upgraded besides the trigger on the angel 4 ??? everything else seems great...

*the bolt is perfect
*the sensi works as good as it can get
*barrel is just a given up
*space frame is nice
*reg works fine
*volumizers are the best ever
*adjustable feed neck (maybee a no rise)
*never heard of a new angel lpr

the only things i could think of is like a new chager thats better or someting, the hk mod...the only performance upgrade being the hk mod... so is there anything you can do to make a 4 better?

some things i thought of that might look cool:
* new breech with a cut in the top as well as a bolt with a metal thing sticking out so we can watch it move fast when we shoot
*stainless steel vernier wheels (in colors!)

The A4 is everything you need out of the box pretty much. I wouldn't change a thing, but the stainless steel vernier wheels you mentioned would be pretty cool.

Also, if they included a free Angel AIR system with each A4 that would be awesome. =P

seriously now i know wdp probably use a AA size battery pack and AAs are 1.5 volts and at that voltage Lithium ion batts can't br recharged *crying*
and someone on the boards said something about integrating an eye system with Sensi :dunno:
and it'd be nice to integrate a halo with the 4 without mysterious problems ppl are having (i don't think its the gun and i don't think its the hopper; must be the user)
other than that i think they have a gun thats as close to perfect as current technology will permit!

one of the guys I know up here has put a cobra 45 frame on his 4 and has stainless steel vernier wheels installed. Looks pretty damn slick!(except it was stolen from his shop last week!!!!!!!!!)

I've heard rumors of stainless steel (or aluminum) wheels. Who is selling these? The Cobra flat trigger is nice, so are the stainless steel buttons from Cobra. Last time I checked, the Cobra fang was being anodized, but they should have those by now also. Other than that, I agree...why mess with a good thing!

I realize that all the angel battery packs are rechargable, but the fact that they are NiMH still makes them less desirable to ME (and only me apparently)than Lithium ion. The desirable trait that Lithium ion batteries deliver is you can charge the LI ion to full capacity without first draining the battery to empty since LI ion batteries do not have a percievable 'memory' as do NiCad and NiMH batteries. It is recommended that you drain the NiMH batteries to 0 before charging the battery to full capacity as to sustain the life of the battery. The Lithium batteries are also lighter than their counterparts. However, I concede that the NiMH batteries work fine and dandy for everybody myself included. I also would wager adopting a new battery would increase production costs thereby raising the price of the gun and at this point would be frowned upon by most.

Ultimately Lithium Ion batteries would only do two things for the good: decrease the overall weight of the gun and to allow you to charge the battery to full whenever you want :smiley:

I think the aluminum vernier wheels would be the best upgrade. I like the trigger, no reason to change that. Also I need to get a no rise or low rise clamping feed neck.

Free Flow has been making a LPR mod called the ERA Mod. It replaces the internal shim LPR with a External palmer LPR or any LPR of your choice. They are working on adapting the mod the the 4 at the moment. I'm guessing it will be out within the next month or so, but thats just my guess. I really don't know last I heard he said it would be out in about 4 weeks and its been about 3, so hopfully sometime soon.

a clear backplate migh look cool so you can see all the electronics!

i love the adjustable neck but it would be cool if it came with a smaller one as well as the current one so that no one would want to replace it..maybee

yea but plastic gets dingy when u get paint on it...it would look cool for awhile they it would just be ugly...plus its more likely to break

The ERA mod might be an upgrade, but it depends how you set it up. And the performance difference might not be noticable. It's just one more way to tinker. I don't think you can really enhace the performance without redesigning the marker again. Look at the Angel LCD, it was as good as it got back then. But now we have the 4. We'll have to wait until the next generation comes out. Until then, we can only try to tweak and tune.

i first traded my a4 for a matrix, i really didnt like it after about a week and the other guy didnt really either, so we decided to trade back, about an hour later i traded for a lasoya, and i had like 20 problems with it so i demanded a trade bak, and i think im gunna keep the 4 this time around.
