Well I bought a 2001 LCD used and I think I got taken for a ride... I tested the marker out a couple weeks ago and shot about 500 rounds and was very impressed with it. I finally went to play on Sat. and I couldn't switch it to Live. I get a code 4 fault (ambient tempurature too low)...? Is the board fried? Thnx for assistance...

yes appears that the baord would be fried , best bet is to bring ti to a tech or send away your board and pay 15$ to swap it for a new one with the angel guy.com

Have you left your gun in a cold place? You might want to try charging it to bring up it's temperature.

Hmm, no I live in Texas, USA, not exactly a cold place, I tried charging it and nothing happens, No Tab in message or charging animation or anything, this sucks....

And another thing, the thermometer display is blank, it doesn't read at all.

yeah that certainly sounds like a bad board......if you're getting a code 4 fault, you won't be able to get it outa safe. However since you're getting something on the display open the grip and make sure everything is plugged in correctly. Sometimes people don't plug things back into the right slots. Also when you said you tried charging it, did you do with the car running? Sometimes you have to start the car to get the initial charge going.

If it does not charge, or the plugs are not plugged in wrong, then it is a bad board.
