2 questions

I have two problems.

1. Im going to send my angel to a angel tech, but its cold here in Norway. Ive heard that the angel shouldnt be in cold temperatures, because then the board will be wasted.
Is there a minimum temperature the angel should not be in?

2. I dont have the original lcd charger. Can I use my friends ir3 charger on my 2k2 lcd?

(sorry about my english, ask if something is unclear)

1. i dont think that will be an issue, if you're worried about it freezing during shipping, wrap it with some towels and bubbel wrap etc and you should be fine


2. yes you can, they are the same charger

Are you shure I can use the ir3 charger? I talked to someone on the norweagean paintballforum, and they said that in worst case I could damage the battery, which could cause other things to break to..... :confused:

But if you are shure then it should not be a problem....???

Moogle is right. The chargers that come with the IR3 are the LCD chargers. They even say so on the charger casing. Using an IR3 charger on your LCD is fine.

I used my IR3 charger on both my IR3 and my LCD with no adverse affects, you'll be fine

as for the lower limit on temps....some people have reported some problems with trying to play with their LCD's in the snow...but I don't see that as a board problem so much as the o-rings probably shrinking and causing some issues....your board should be just fine.

I've been using my LCD for years in Alaska in some cold weather without any problems at all. I haven't been playing in below zero temps but I have played in freezing rain and sleet as well as light snow and close to freezing temperatures.

I have some information that propably would end this discussion...
Yesterday I called a tech, and he said:

1. If you send the angel in cold weather (propably below 0 celcius) it wont work, but when it gets warm again it will........

2. About the charger.....he said he thought it would work, it depended on which battery I had (I could use it if it had the same battery as the ir3), he could find that out for me, but he needed the serial number......

The anoying thing was that when I called the tech, I was not at home, but I drove home right after I talked to the tech ( I really wanted to know this before christmas) When I came home, abou 10 minutes later, I called him back, only then they have taken christmas vacation.....D`oh

well unless your gun has the tab switch on the back, the yellow key, then you have the same battery
