Try to use an easy out, a torx head bit, or if those don't work take a hacksaw cut a strip across the screw and use a screwdriver to get it out.

aluminum screws = crap
get a stainless screw set.

do like thog said and either a hacksaw(hard way) or a dremmel tool(easy way) and slot the screw so you can get it out w/ a flat head screwdriver

i had the same problem. before i bought an easy out my dad took a pair of needle nose vise grips and clamped it onto what was left of the head of the screw, it came out real easy.

Easy out is a tool that is made to get screws w/ stripped heads out, if you go to a hardware store they can help you find one and prob show you how to use it

alright well i got a vise grip and i have been working edges but it still won't pop out so for this easy out are their different sizes and does it go in the acutall allen wrench hole?

they come in a pack (usually) with different sizes. You could take the gun with you to size if need be...

If you are really good (DO NOT DO THIS UNLESS YOU HAVE A DRILLPRESS AND TAP SET) you could drill out the screw and retap the threads. NOT SUGGESTED FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE NO DONE THIS BEFORE.

I also did the exact same thing, so we took fooled around with standard and metric allen sockets till we found one almost the correct size to fit in to what was left of the head of the screw. Than my dad, who has forearms like a bear, powered the socket into it and got it to back out.
