Help charging my LCD

Hey I just bought this gun but when I go to charger it the display reads tab in. the gun doesnt have enough power to even get into safe mode.and i know my battery is connected. when i try to turn the gun on the backlight comes on for about 5 seconds,with no text. so that shows how much power i have. someone please help i need this thing ready by sunday.

well he says that it doesnt have enough power to turn it self on, same problem i had, i played with it for a while, trying different htings like plugging it in, then turning on, it charges a tiny bit, so if u leave it there for like half a minute turn the gun off, unplug the charger, turn the gun on , plug charger in... let me know how it works

it doesn't have to go into safe for it to start charging tho...all you have to do is plug it in...if it says tab in, flip the switch and it should start charging after a second or 2.
