I have 3 friends that shoot LCDs and the HALO B is the ONLY thing that keeps up with them, nothing else is fast enough for them lol

This is no question get an egg especially on an lcd if your not shooting a speed or A4 then egg is the way. The only way you need a halo b is if you can shoot 20+ bps.

well eggs are definately the way to go with 22bps burst and probably 18-19 consistent its a halo with out all the problems

New Zboard they say can feed 21.5 constant, not bursts...I doubt you can outshoot that so I would go with that.

Ok well I have a black egg2 with y-board and never chop with my angel and my MROF is set a 20 and I have never had I problem....yet though I haven't used my angel in speedball yet I have played rec and I did shoot quite fast a few times I could remember and never outshot or chopped a single ball. Although my egg did fall off(LOL) and it became a blender but that was user error. -Eddie

I did not like the egg. I believe the Halo has better construction, and is a lot more consistent in feed rates. With a second detent installed, you should not have any problems. if you do, try a stronger detent.

dude halo is the shizzy just go with it an egg wouldnt push past any detent, so now that you have the 2nd on instaled go for better speed comstruction and consistancy.

i got the halo and it doesnt chop, it breaks balls in the feed neck before they even get into the breach. does anyone have an egg 2 w/ a Z board they wanna trade me? im gonna give the haloone more try before i do anything but man , it sure is pissing me off. i miss the first four games or so cleaning paint out of my gun before swithcing to my revvy.

? why do so many people have halo problems ?
i modified my halo to use one 9v (lighter, cheaper, easier) and it seems to have weekend the propeler alot, it now will just stop if i stck a toothpik on it, it has really made the force put on the balls yet but it still feeds fast, i recomend you too get the 9v conversion.

how did u do that? i tried to put a 9v in my halo and the light just flashed rede and green like it wasn't getting enough power.

wouldn't use a halo.dont seem to work well with angels i dont know why.they seem to chop some times.if you realy feel u want a halo i'd get help for a master teck or guys at badlands but i would just use an egg with a zboard.works better plus cost less and much less work

Put a soft touch bolt in your lcd and a good ball detent. This will get rid of anyball stack and double feed probs as long as your marker is tuned right.

Halos and angels just dont mix. I hate to admit it but I have to say that I bought a 100 dollar piece of crap from odyssee. For one, they are capable of feeding 20+ balls but I never get that rate without chopping every other ball. I just got embarassed asking for a straight shot from my team mates. Anyways, Even if they did feed right, who likes to lug around that heavy piece of crap that you have to reload every three seconds. That 9V solution doesnt work. It makes it a little bit lighter, but I alwasy get some weird crap like blinking lights or sometimes I cant even turn it on. Get a z-board. Why mess with all that trouble?

Halos and Z Eggs are fairly even, the speed is about the same, Halos are heavier and eggs are taller. It's really preference.

My brother has a Halo B and I have an Egg with Y-Board. (Z-board's on order) I tried them both on my Force 4. For some reason the Halo just didn't want to feed right but the Egg only had a few times where I outshot it. I was shooting about 24 bps with both of them and they both had there problems. With the Egg I would dry fire every now and then but I never chopped a ball and the Halo would just quit feeding altogether. I would recommend the Egg with Z-board over the Halo any day. It's lighter, cheaper and it holds more rounds, plus the Z-board is just as fast.

Egg with z board, it's just as fast as a halo, and halos are uglier anyway.
