I'm having problems not with chopping, but with barrel breaks. The paint I use is ALWAYS fresh and most everyone at the field tends to not have problems with it, but seems like every time I really start rippin on my LCD it starts salad shooting. It's not chopping because I check the breech after and no paint in there like a typical chop and the paint starts a little past the ball detent. I recently bought a new detent thinking this was the problem, but it's still happening. I know it could just be the paint to barrel match, but wondering if it could be something else.

Thanks.

What type of barrel are you using? I've seen the old style Dyes that were glued and not lined up propery and cause the same problem your having. Just slightly off causing hooks and breaks like crazy.

Well, that's good news about the A4 bolt because I'm supposed to have one arriving in the next couple days.

As far as what barrels I've been using. Until Tuesday night I was using an older glued boomy like you mentioned. I now have a freak kit, so hopefully I can eliminate the paint to barrel match problem if there was one. I did have some breaks in my freak, but I think I had the wrong insert in there. Who knows, maybe it's the bolt having to do something with it too.

Thanks guys...any more comments or suggestions?

i have the same problem with my dark angel lcd, i got a new bolt and new detents thinkin that was it, but its not. A guy at my local paintball shop thought my halo b was crushing the balls in the breech instead of pushing them in, which was part of the problem because i tried out an evo2 and it worked fine...almost no barrel breaks, but i just got the halo and dont want to get an evo2, anyone have any ideas

yes Halo's have been hit and miss forever....they're not perfect on Angels, and they take a lot of work to get them to work sometimes.

i think the halos are awesome, just not on angels....other guns like timmys they are awesome...ive never really had any problems with them, except their a royal pain to clean out if a ball breaks in the feed tray
