Hey I just got a used 2000 angel lcd and I have some problems. When the marker is gased up and live and u pull the trigger it doesnt shoot if you pull it five or six times it will ramdomly shoot once after you have stoped pulling the trigger. Then the blot gets stuck in the breech and shoots back a second or two later. If you shut off the marker and turn it back on after this it will randomly shoot. Can anyone Help?

Are there any faults showing on the board?

To check for faults, turn on the marker but leave it on safe. Then hit the middle button on the frame to cycle through the menus. You will get to one that says "faults" and it will either say "none" (that's best) or it will say "code 1" or "code 2" etc. See if there are any faults. Now when you talk about a loose part by the trigger, do you have the grip frame off the marker?

Clnick6

Yes the grip frame is off and it is not a part of the trigger it is the peice obove the the botton the trigger pushes. it is round and has a movable part on top.

Clnick6

it says none for fault

That's good on the fault deal, as far as the other part goes, that's not sounding so good. I'm looking in the manual, but I'm not sure about what you're talking about, so it makes it hard to say. When in doubt, ask someone who is a cert. tech. Sorry.

Sorry that took so long. I'm having some computer issues. Anyway, the part you're talking about should move around freely. That's what makes the grip vibrate when you have the timer or alarms set. The motor for the vibrations is the "box" under it in the picture.

Have you had any problems w/ your tank in the past? If you're reg is bad or if the minireg isn't working right then that could be causing some of the problems. Try turning the air off, putting the gun on live and see if all of the trigger strokes register as shots. You can check by going: Gun on, safe mode. Then scroll through the menus like you did to check for faults. There is a menu that says "mrof" which is your set max rate of fire. There is another that says "rof" and that is the rate of fire for the last burst. Hold the middle button to set it back to zero. Then put it on live, shoot a few times, then put it back on safe and it should pull that "rof" menu up the first time you hit the middle button. If it's not reading your shots then there is a connection issue between the trigger switch and the board. The wires could be pinched or just loose. You can check the connection by taking off the left side of the grip and pushing all of the connectors snug on the board.

that metal piece is the vibrator, the top half is supposed to rotate

make sure you've got a full charge on the marker, make sure your trigger is not set to short giving a bad signal to fire and not resetting etc

there's always the possibility that you've got a bad board tho:(

Emmit, you da man. I'm hoping that he doesn't have a bad board since it's not showing any faults, but you know how that goes. Hey, after re-reading his original post, do you think his hammer could use an adjustment?

Clnick6

It is defenetly reading the shots the trip counter goes up after i shoot it on live with air. I havnt had any problems with my tank and i used my reg as well as my friends reg from his class Ir3. The trigger doesnt look to be set to short its actualy a pretty large pull.

actually....after re-reading it myself...I think I know exactly what his problem his...

plugs are not in the right holes...

the solenoid is plugged into the intellifeed plug. That's the reason you're only getting a shot after a certain number of pulls and then the bolt isn't returning. You need to open your grip cheeks up and verify that the solenoid wires are plugged into the sol port, and that the vibrator is plugged into the vibes port, and if you've got an intellifeed site rail it's plugged into the sol port....battery of course should be in the batt port

Clnick6

next to where it says sol rite along that nothing is pluged in but directly necxt to that plu g wires are in is it the same thing?

Emmit
12-17-2003, 11:13 PM
there are 4 ports on the board....batt, sol, intell, and vibe

there should be nothing in the intellifedd port unless you've got an intellifeed site rail...and if you do it sounds like someone mixed up the wires...

Clnick6
12-17-2003, 11:15 PM
And that is what they say on the board?

Emmit
12-17-2003, 11:17 PM
yeah I think that's pretty close to how they're labeled....it's the wires with white plugs that are plugged into the board...

The top one is for the intellifeed. Make sure the plug is in the bottom one (it is a two prong plug just above the board).

Clnick6

In the picture the plugs closest to the trigger it shows the wires going into the bottom one on mine marker it is going into the top one make a difrence?

Emmit

Clnick6
12-17-2003, 11:25 PM
From the pictures it looks like it should be in the one down and the one it is in is for the intel feed

drkanglr
12-17-2003, 11:27 PM
That should fix your problem. Ups to Emmit

Clnick6
12-17-2003, 11:28 PM
yeah thanks man

Emmit
12-17-2003, 11:29 PM
it's probably labeled HOP for hopper....that means your solenoid is plugged into your intellifeed...plug it into the one labeled SOL and you should be good to go.

drkanglr
12-17-2003, 11:32 PM
Sorry, I jumped the gun. Just get a good grip down close to the plug and pull straight up. It should be a little tight. Then when you plug it in, there should be a couple of pops (you feel 'em more than hear 'em) to make sure it's good and snug. Let us know if it works. It should be fine after that.
