Hey all those of you in the Houston area....I'm figuring I'll head out to PBUSA next Sat. Hopefully the field will have drained a little bit. I'm also going to try and run a couple of tests on the R11 bolt vs the Stock bolt. Anyone feel like coming out and playing a few games? I might be convinced to visit Tanks, but I think PBUSA would be better since Tanks will be getting ready for the PACS on Sunday. I"ll have the Palm with me so if anyone wants to see it, or anyone with an IR3 that hasn't had the opportunity to mess with it yet is more than welcome.

Oh and I'll sport the AOG T-shirts, these things are cool.

hrm. i was originally going to head to tanks on sat. pbusa has a nice forest layout but there were quite a few large, how do i say, cow dropping hazards .. oh and a LOT of ant mounds. :tongue: maybe they've cleaned it up by now. dunno.

i was going to wear my aog shirt today .. but i didnt want to get it dirty. hahaha

how do you feel about a sunday meet at pbusa?

jasyn......I agree that PBUSA has some hazards, however they are in the process of building their new hyperball field (maybe it's already done) and like I said Tanks is going to be over run with the PACS teams walking the fields Sat. As for Sunday, I can't this week Sat is the only day I can get a sitter.

question: what kind of paint do you shoot and where do you get it locally? i posted a question about 32* paint on another thread by no responses yet. it's pretty cheap at maxx's right now iirc.

Maxx is said to be getting a fresh shipment of paint in either today or tomorrow. They sold out of paint this past weekend.

Sat. weather looks good right now. Partly cloudy with a high of 68, so it should be a good day for some good paintball. The season is starting to pick up here in Houston now that it's cooled off, so I'm sure there will be plenty of people out there.

dunno if you read my post on another thread on here but ... can you bring your toolkit out this sat? i wanna check my lpr psi and see how the mini gauge compares in accuracy. right now it reads about 5bar ~ 80psi or so. a little low from what i understand.

shims wont arrive till next week. but i believe i can flip over one of the rings in the stack to achieve similar results. we shall see.

well weather forecast is now calling for it to be a little cooler, but nothing we can't play in. should still be a nice day to play ball. So you guys there. I'm figuring on about 9-3 as my playing times tomorrow.

and were we to use this thread as a realistic indicator .. there should only be 2 people out at pbusa on sat with angels. hahaha

If Gair does like last year there will be a PACS tournament in South Padre the weekend of Spring Break. This will bring a lot of Tournament players in for Spring Break. Although last year I heard the guys waited like 2+ hours just to cross the bridge.

yeah they are trying to make the PACS Spring Break the equivalent of Mardi Gras. Last year they gave away monster prizes even though they lost money on it. Tournament paintball in Texas is blowing up...just wish it was a little better in Houston everything is up in Austin or San Antonio
