Ok, before you rip on me for being a slow trigger, I can get around 24-25 bps without paint and SENSI off. I am also running the new settings Ken recommended with my LPR@57, Dwell@16, and Mini-Reg@185. No matter how much I try to rip on the trigger, I cant get over 15 bps on the sucker. I haven't tried with SENSI off because, well.. I'm scared to.

What are the fastest speeds you guys have hit with paint & SENSI? It would be helpful if you listed the mode that you were in as well as your LPR, Dwell, and mini-reg pressure.

One more note, I love the settings Ken recommened, but I do have one issue. My accuracy seemed to get WORSE with these settings. I am using the stock barrel with PMI Permium and Slam. Now I am wondering if with the stock barrel if it's actaully worse for accuracy to have the ball accelerate more down the barrel as it would with a higher dwell and a lower LPR?

I just thought about this. Maybe it's my old POS Halo. It's a B model, but one of the first with the second generation board, whichever one that was.

Did you do the drop test? Maybe the sensi rod is dirty or broken, or it could be the sensor?

in Modes 1 and 2 I've reached over 20 bps easily

The night I was investigating the pause I hit 26 in Semi 1 with my Evlution Z

Drop test will pass every one, and doesn't SENSI set the max@13 if it doesn't calibrate correctly. Damn, Emmit.. I am not getting anywhere near those speeds. I wonder if the motor in my Halo is going bad. Still, you would think that I would have had at least 2 balls that were close enough to give me the 20+ ROF.

I've hit 28 with my egg on sensi 2, but like you said it's only the two closest balls not a full string like the earlier angels read. The version one of the a4 board works like this I think, My mates a4 says LP V1 when you first turn it on, mine says LP V2, and his works like that. I have my dwell heaps lower than that though- 11 sometimes 12.

yea...mine says LPv2...what does that mean???

have your tried using a diffrent loader........try using a egg 2 ..........it might be your loader....ive seen one other case of this at my local field

I guess I could just try to turn off SENSI and shoot till I break and then look and see if the ROF is faster. At least this will let me know that my market is physically capable of a faster ROF. If it doesn't get any faster then it will probably be my hopper.

tried another hopper? Thats the first thing id do.

Yep, I think it's going to be my hopper. I turned SENSI off and started to rip. It got to 18 and my A4 became the Chop Master 2000. This is faster than I have been able to get recently with SENSI by about 3 bps. Do the motors in the Halo B wear down, and how would you tell ?

Good to know that SENSI was doing it's job though. My hopper obviously wasn't feeding fast enough to keep the rate above 15 bps.

thats odd for a HALO. Replaced the batteries lately?

Yeah Childe, I am using almost brand new engerizer e2 lithiums. I don't think the lithiums put out less juice do they?

Well.. I tried the Egg2 and I am getting the same results as when I was using my Halo. It just won't get over 13-14 bps. I can turn SENSI off and rip, or dry fire with SENSI off and rip.

Help..... :clouds:

Did you ever adjust the trigger or something. if you still have it, take the grip frame off, and look at the 2 green wires attached to the sensi sensor. see if there pinched or there is something wrong with them. If they are, you will probably have to buy a new sensor for lik $25. Mine are pinched and when i calibrate, my 13bps cap wont go away. o yah, i can dryfire fine its just with sensi on, i just cant rip. tell me what you see. :peace:

No, my SENSI seems to be ok. I am wondering now if my trigger set up is screwed up. I am starting to get the "pause" issue which has been proven to be a bad trigger set up. I wonder if this could be linked to me not being able to get over a certain bps. It seems likely, I guess.

If you are getting the "pause" check your TOE, it might be in to far, or have you bent your opto switch?

How can I check if I bent my opto switch? I didn't bend anything on purpose.

Open up your grip and see how far your TOE is in. It could of tweaked the opto switch accidentally or pushed it in to far. Since you say that you didn't do anything on purpose, I don't think that you took out your board and tweaked you opto switch yourself.

It just sounds like your TOE is over adjusted.
