a 2k1 lcd with a nimh battery was recently charged and the charger seemed to "burn out" then ceased to charge. since then the lcd only works on start up and the gun does not shoot regularly. The bolt moves forward and discharges regularly. Then its backward motion is slow and moves as if there is not enuf pressure to it or it is gunky. Any clue how board damage my do this? Or is this an independat problem? I mean if i keep hitting the trigger the ram moves foward then back about once per second
I used a radio shack car to wall converter which was the correct one to use
The gun never had neumatic problems plus the lcd turns on for a split second upon turning on but quickly goes blank. I know its on cause i can take it of safty and fire it but thats what the ram does when i fire

Are all of your connections on the board good?
Are there any wires that might be pinched?
It could very well be a bad board. Had a similar problem with my 2k1 Impact and needed to replace the board on it.

what he's saying is to make sure your plugs are all in the right spots, and plugged all the way in
as for the board version, you'll have to look at the pictures that are provided on WWW.WDPService.com and see which board you've got. Then you can choose any of the Sponsors listed on that site to send it to.

hey, i had the same problem a few weeks ago. I tried to build a car charger from the radio shack converter and my gun did the same thing. what happened is you fried the board, but luckily it can be replaced. go to www.angelparts.com and go to angel lcd services and get the version 1 board swap. It costs $75 and you get the new version 2 board.

This is a good reason that people should only use WDP certified chargers.
