Air questions.
Hey well its almost christmas and i think iam going to go all out and spoil my self by buying a A4. But i have to ask what air system should i get
Angel Air? i heard many bad things and i see my self as cursed when its comes to gun problems so i want a problem free gun - including the tank
Air America Armageddon System? i havent heard much outsid eof the internet what do yall think?
Max Flow? i havent had a very good expenice with smart parts and i dont know if it would look very good on a A4
Dyna Flow? i ve heard good things but where do u buy them?
BUt i am definatly starting to lean towards the conquest unless yall have some very bad expirences with them becasue they are decently cheap and all the reviews were good that i ve seen
So it would be great if i could hear some feed back
Thanks, Mark

i've heard good things about the conquest, if i didnt have my angel air i would get that
i havent had any serious problems so far with my air, it has treated me well, the only thing is that i ahve to have the output turned off before a fill when the tank is completely empty or it will leak from the safety valve(not sure if that's the name), i've seen this on lotsa airs, not a big issue since you shouldnt keep your gun pressurized after a day of play anyway
becides that i've had to replace 1 o-ring in my brother's reg one time, well all this is over about a 6-9 month period, not allot if ya ask me

i have to suggest at least looking into a nitro duck x-stream i love mine its adjustable, light, and consistent for under $300
my only "complaint" is that the reg feels a little wobbly when mounted, so little that i never noticed it in a game, and ive read that its a common situation

My LP Crossfire works great as well.

The most problem free air system would most likely be a screw in, but make it an LP screw in. I have had no problems with my Conquest, don't have any experience with the AIR, so I won't comment on that.

Here is the pic of my angel with a max flo. Only got it today so unsure how maxflo goes. Also have a Conquest and ive only heard good things from them as long as u keep away from the dirt.

Conquest 03 is the best reg I have had/used. Had AIR, Max-flo, Geddon and now Conquest 03.

With the crossfire the mini reg allows you to go as low as you need to go. A lot of people recommend 450 into the marker anyway... which is where Crossfire has set thier LP presets.

Between my two brothers and myself we have three MacDev Conquests on our Angels and they perform great. They are easy to use and are very light. You can't go wrong with a Conquest.

As I've posted in other threads, 3+ years with the A.I.R. and no problems. The best adjustable tank that I've owned.

i would get the conquest, i know like 3 ppl with em and they love em, i know 2ppl with AIR and they say that it preforms good but its alot of hasstle, if i were u i would get a conqut
btw the xfire tanks are heavy and wont fit on some drops, and im getting +/-6-7 fps with my lp xfire, with good paint/barrel, all my friends gun get +/-2or3.... so i woudnt reccomend the xfire
If money isn't an object get a conquest. I've got 2 and they're great. If you're on a budget go with the LP crossfire or PE preset but it has to be LP.

the pe presets are all on hp if i am not mistaken, but even on my piranha using the ol' pe i was getting better consistency than i am right now

if you got 500 bucks laying aroun go with the angel air. its really consistant. digital read out. the angel air, personally, is great for me. but it all depends what ur comfrotable with and what you like...we can only go as far as helping u choose, we cant choose for you.

Me and a couple teammates have Angel AIRs. They work great. However, you should have new o-rings put in (or have it re-built- very cheap to do) every year or so. It not only works flawlessly when taken care of, but looks great sitting under an Angel.
A couple others on my team have 'Geddons and they love them also.
Two others on my team just got the Nitroduck adjustable LP tanks. If money is an issue, I'd get this. I've compared the tanks, and performance, it's about the same. Can't really say anything about reliability because they've only had them for a month or two, but they are very light. Much lighter than an AIR or a Geddon, and probably lighter than the Conquest and Max Flo.
Good luck.

I'm stuck on the Dynaflow's, they are light weight and very consistant. The one I have is great, I would have a hard time switching to another system. Although I would give the MacDevs a close look.

I have had five systems so far. The first one was some bootleg air tank I got from air america. Remember those skinny rapter looking deals? Then I had a flatline from AGD. I hate everything AGD makes except the flatline. It is light and adjustible, had no problems. Then I got couple of preset cheapies, one from crossfire and one fro nitroduck. I wouldnt get one unless you are really straped for cash. They arent bad for the money but they arent good either. Then I got the AIR from WDP. This thing is bad ass. Consistent as hell, always on dot plus the digital readout is perfect if you want on the dot precision output. Those microgauges suck because you cant tell if it is 280psi or 290, well compared to the digital readout of the AIR. The only thing I dont like is the weight. AIR is a little on the fat side. I am thinking about saving up for a Mac Dev Conquest. I need something super light for my super light a4 (soon baby soon). If I get a new drop forward and I like the distribution I may not get it because I just love the performance of the AIR too much. I dont know where you heard that AIRs are trouble because I havent read anything but good things about the AIR.

2k3 Mac Dev Conquest 68/4500
IMHO this is the best system you can buy hands down, I have an Angel AIR but it just creates more probs (Still use it though, its really a great tank).
