I've got a 2k1 Angel with a Kapp low rise on it right now. I was thinking about ordering one of the Cobra high rises since I live about 20 min drive from them. I was wondering if it would be worth it to go ahead and get it or just stick with the Kapp low rise.

Really, are they worth it to get on the LCD's? I know that the IR3 uses it, as a friend of mine has a blue IR3 CnC. But is it worth it to get without the COPS system?

Cool, I can't argue with that, now to try and find one...

cobra sells the gated feed high rises.
I actually took the gated feed high rise off of mine and put a dye low rise with a halo b.
No probs whatsoever keeping up on a IR3 and a LCD.
I switched because I'm a front player... lower profile, but yeah.. the gated feed works and rocks.
The gated feed allows a three ball stack all the time by not allow the ball to go back out the top due to movement. It will function to your advantage with or without a cops system.

I'm personally waiting on Warped to do a colored version of the gated feed, until then I keep my high rise and I love it. I'm only using a Rev with X-Board so I'm planning to get a HALO B in the very VERY near future.

cuz thereis a tounge in the neck of the Ricochet. Everytime a ball pases the tounge, the paddle spins so its kinda like an intellifeed without the wires. The tounge is flexable and bends down on a 45º so only balls can do down and not up just like a gated feed.

I had a rico and did not notice that benifit. Its an intresting idea nonetheless.

gated feed is a good idea, when coupled with a force-fed loader your marker will shoot SEVERAL shots upside down!
Personally I say go low-rise gated feed; VERY nice, although rather hard to get right now...

WDP did patent the gated feed as well as the space frame and opti-board. They are making a gated feed for the auto-cocker

WOW i guess I should retract that last statement!
I JUST got of the phone with Cobra and they said WDP is still working on the low-rise gated feeds. Apparently the only reason it worked on the Fly iR3 was because the breech was milled down...So no low-rise gated feeds as of yet.
