i am looking for a new, lighter tank for my angel. i would like some opinions about what tank is the best for a md to front player. i never shoot more than 800 rnds a game. i currently have a 68 4500 angel a.i.r system but i a looking for something a bit lighter. tell mewhat you think.

A fiber wrapped PE or crossfire 68/3000 or 45/4500.......the 45/4500 only gets about 650 shots a fill tho....might be kinda small for you. Those would be my choices.

68/45 Crossfire if your looking for a little lighter. Personally anything besides an AIR Reg will be lighter for you but you'll only get 7-800ish max on a 45/45 probably not worth it for you.

why would u need something lighter, during the game are u gonna say, "o man my tank is heavy i cant shot" u arn't gonna think of that when u are playing

Yeah just any screw in 68/4500 would be lighter than your Angel AIR, My team-mate uses screw-in presets and he'll get off about 1000 or so shots with a 99' LED.

45/4500 is the way to go. I can get 4 pods and a hopper and still have some air left, just in case. Light and super tight!

I use a ACI bulldog III on my 2000 cut n carve LCD and I get 800-900 shots off each fill if i get 3000 when i fill. I carry 2 100 pods and a full hopper during recball, and fill them twice for each fill with air left over. for scenario I carry 4 140 and a full empire and i run out of air before the last 2 pods if i don't fill with the tank when i fill the pods. The bulldog tanks are cheap and i have not experienced shoot down with it. it has a 800 preset. the previous owner used an angel air 45/4500 and shot out his halo b and 4 pods on each fill. but recommended this tank to me when i first bought the marker since he uses the bulldog as his backup tank. I don;t play speedball yet but I like to see the tippies run when you get in close and personal and they see an angel LOL

do you think its possiblel for me to keep my A.I.R reg and somehow connect a preset or a fiber rapped tank with it???

Rephrase that a little more clearly,
You can swap a different tank on your AIR reg easily but you can screw a preset tank into it.

Tanks aren't preset, it's the reg that is.

I use a 45/4500 A.I.R. and I'm a front player. Works really well for me. And yes, you can use another tank with the A.I.R. regulator.

Sorry Speedyejl about not mentioning the size the tank i am using is a 68/3000 ACI Bulldog III, I am going to get a 68/4500 this year just so I don't have to get air so often at scenario games, the air fill lines can be rather long. I will probably stick with the 800 psi preset reg so i can continue to use tank on sevearal different makers.

I used to say the same, but I got tired of crappy tanks.
I tried them ALL. The luxury of having friends that own/operate shops. I finally told myself, stop being cheap! I finally got my A.I.R. and haven't been happier since. I bought a few preset tanks and they just didn't work for me. If I had not bought them, with the money I spent on each I could have easily bought the A.I.R. and had money left over. To shoot the best, give it the best. I run my A.I.R. straight in and it runs like a charm. No shootdown, no inconsistencies. Ron from MO's did that setup for me, of course make sure the gun is properly tuned...
