My microswitch doesn't reset on the same point it fires on my LCD, i'd have to release it a bit more for the microswitch to be able to fire again resulting in the need for a bit longer trigger pull. Is this normal? or is something wrong with the switch?

Yeah i've tried a lot of trigger lengths. Ended up with the same result, I would need about 3mm return to reset the microswitch instead of it getting reset a bit after the activation point.

that's normal....it's a switch, it does actually have to move a little to opperate.
remember shorter is not necessarily always better.

Yeah, my speed trigger is set very short and thats how I like it. I know the LCD can't get as short as it, but my concern is that I have an unusually long pull for an LCD compared to other LCDs.
I figured that the microswitch is probably worn or something so i'll either solder a new one on or have a board swap.
