Hey everyone,
I just picked up an adrenalin. My only gripe is that the feed neck is loose. I can tighten it up all the way but then the nipple for the air assist is not centered with the body. What should I do? Loctite? Blue/Red? A dab of jb weld? Am I missing something?
thanks

I have an adrenalin LCD too. Had it for amost 4 years now. I had the same problem too. The adrenalin high rise would constantly come loose reguardless of what I used. Even red loctite came off with time. I ended up buying a gated feed and JB welding it in. The adrenalin rise came loose so many times it almost stipped the body threads. On a side note, taking off the air assist actually made my marker a little more consistent over the chrono. Good luck in whatever you do.

hmm its weird the blue loctite just doesn't seem to dry. I gotta get my hands on some red loctite....

anyone else have an idea? I am tempted to just jb weld the damn thing considering I will never want a different feed.

ya i would jb weld it. it is probably the best idea to do that, and you already know that you wont want another feed neck. besides, the air assist is sick.

Adrenalin actually puts red loc-tite on the feednecks from the factory

yeah i figured considering there was residue from the red loctite formerly holding the neck tight.....
I WANT MY DAMN TANK BACK FROM THE HYDROTESTERS ALREADY!!!! :-( I wanna rip it up with my new baby!

I used the clear epoxy on mine (the kind you mix) and have had no problems since.

all you need to do is clean the neck and the breech of the angel with some rubbing alcohol then put on some blue loctite. wipe off the access with a tissue and allow to dry overnight and that should be the end of your problems. red loctite is usually permanent and i know jb weld is.

Red Loctite isn't really permenant just harder to take off...much harder. And if you read I already used red loctite like Adrenalin did when they put the gun together. Works great.
have a good one,
Emilio
PS - sadly the gun is for sale... i need money for my car.....its my damn dream gun too!!!!
