A4 Price Drop?

I just got word that the A4 went down in price to $1199 from $1399. I've had the gun a month and it's already dropped. WTF! WDP is getting on my nerves if this is true!

This is related to the current economy. Retail and Manufacturers are trying to cash in before the end of the year. My wife just picked up a Columbia Jacket for my 12 year old paintballer, and it was already on Clearance. It hasn't even snowed in Chicago yet !
I was thinking about getting my son an Angel Speed, since he got spoiled by using mine, but since the A4 dropped in price, maybe Dad should buy himself a XMAS gift, and hand the Speed down to his son !

Merry XMAS to me ...........

I always buy myself a XMAS gift each year.

The going prices are $1095 for Carbon Dust, $1150 for all other colors exept fades which are $1200

I talked to Ken today and he said that the price has been dropped. I can't remember by how much, but I think it was the same drop (100 or 150) as the A4. Been a hectic day at work and I can't remember the exact price drop off the top of my head.

Nothing on the WDP site about it (although, that is not unusual!) so I just wondered if it is just suppliers cutting their margins or whether WDP has actually reduced the cost to suppliers??

Well having spoken to a major WDP reseller here in the UK the word here is that it isn't WDP who has altered the prices. It's just US resellers who are reducing their prices.

I am inclined to believe this is the case until I see something official from WDP to the contrary...

Can any of the sponsors clarify this issue?

Gotta remember. The economy isn't exactly the best right now & high dollar toys are not just flying off the shelf. Just look at the "want an A4" ratio to "own an A4" ratio at your local field next Saturday.

In retail prices will eventually drop. I guess there is a little shock because the price dropped a lot quicker than most anticipated. Economy, sales, and new product will drive the original price down, not to mention a few other things, but these are the main reasons.

$50 more and you can get it from a reputable place, or even a WDP service center. I wouldn't risk it.

at badlands(sponser shop) they are selling them for 1600 canadian whic is hella cheap asd also they are selling force 4s for 1700
