the day has finally come.
Tarantula Paintball Mods & Mfg. is working on a mod on an iR3 frame and trigger which will allow you to put your current LCD board in the frame and have it fitting and working properly. I've been emailing Marc of TPMM for more detailed info. He says it will be roughly around $150. Here are the replies i got...

Yes, I'm working on that project right now. It probably won't be ready for another two weeks or so. Once I get it sorted out, I'll be taking preorders, after which will be about a one week wait to ship. Check back with me in a couple weeks, if you will.

oh wow thats great. Where did u manage to get ir3 electrnoics? I hear these things are almost impossible to get. Also do you have an idea on pricing?

I didn't get the electronics, sorry for the confusion. It's just going to be the gripframe and trigger. You would use the regular LCD board. Sorry about that. The price will probably be somewhere around $125-150.
