Hi, I just traded my cocker for a speed and it should be here in a couple days. I've been reading over as much stuff as I can on this forum and I have a couple questions. I read that running a high pressure preset tank directly into the mini reg could cause problems. What exactly would running my PMI 68/45 directly into the mini reg do bad if anything? Also, a friend told me dryfiring could harm the speed. Any truth to that and if so to what extent could it hurt it?
Thanks

yes ive heard its hard to get ur fsp at or below 300 but what u do i think is just lower ur lpr by taking out a couple shims and upping ur dwell i think is the solution to that problem. id ask ken, just pm him and i haven't experienced any problems dry firing my gun. And I do it all the time just for ****s and giggles. And by the way, I assure u, u will be more pleased with ur speed than ur cocker, once u set it all to ur specs.

Cool, so the tank thing can be fixxed by just setting up the gun a little different?

if nothing else you can buy a new mini reg that is designed to take high pressure tanks... like a warped one, havent had any problems since i put that on.
dry fire away. it wont hurt at all. heh and it scares rec ballers into calling themselves out when you bunker em without paint.
