Thinking about removing the Air Assist feed and installing a clamp feed of some sort. I do have some reservations about this, mainly because the gun is a relatively rare "team gun"...according to the good people at Adrenalin, one of fifteen. However, I do intend to actually use the gun, since I'm a player, not a museum curator. Personally, I think it'd be disrespectful of the gun and its' creators to have it sit around, but that's just me.

Anyways, Since the gun has the hose going from the top of the gun to the feed neck (I'm assuming it's a feed off the top of the solenoid), would there be any negative consquences to simply removing the hose and the feed and installing a clamp feed? My buddy insists that there's an exhaust vent on the top of the gun that Adrenalin merely hooked a hose to for the air assist. I'm not so sure. Any Adrenalin experts out there with some insight?

No probs with removing the hose and going with another feed neck at all.

Heh...I may just keep it as it is...had a couple of younger players come into my shop yesterday and "Oh, dood...that's so OLD school! Can I check it out?"

there's never been any proof that those hoses actually do anything. There really isn't enough air being released from that point in the marker to make any difference. Adrenaline marketed it and some people bought into the idea. But hey if you like it...more power to ya.
