i'm confused

i play front and i was wondering what hopper i should get halo or egg... just in your opinion which would be more efficient for a front player with a speed? thanks...

a rev will probably suit your needs in a front spot, an Evlution if you want to be able to rail at anytime.

i would go with an egg because the halo is way to heavy for a front player.
You still will be able to shoot pretty fast.
Im a front player and i use an egg.
I think a revy will work but i cant tell you how many times i miss fired snapshooting with one

depends, are you a psycho front or a ill go.....now! front. egg if your psycho cus you have more paint at one time to fire i e less reloading. halo if your ill go.....now! cus its a little harder to hit head on.

here's my opinion ...

being a front player myself, i worry about one thing ... POTENTIAL TARGETS!! the egg, is a HUUUUGE target ... its big, its noticable, honestly - it a a huge target ... the halo is a much less obvious target in my opinion ....

and being you don't need the extra ammo as a front player, it also feeds faster, and at least in my experiences, works AMAZING with a speed w/ low-rise ...

the weight difference is incredibly minimal ... don't buy into the "halo is sooo heavy thing" ... try it for yourself ...

it really isn't that heavy i've used an lcd with a halo before and it wasn't bad at all, i was wondering cuz i've never used an egg... thanks again for the input guys :)

Just get one of them 50 round hoppers. Small target, and use sensi. Just work on your first shot accuracy.
I;m going with HALO, they can be made to work.

Revy if your worried about weight. They are reliable hoppers, and generally perform the way you want them too as a front guy hopper. They are small, lightweight, and simple.

Evo2 if you want the speed. Its heavier than the revy, and lighter than the HALO. Its a good cross b/w the two, with less problems than the halo and feeds nearly as fast. Unless your shooting 20 bps, dont go with the Halo. They are a pain in the anus, at least mine was.

But your best bet is to borrow whichever hopper you dont have from one of your buddies during a day of practice and see for yourself which one fits your style the best.

i really can't stress enough - that unless you know your gun enough, don't diss the halo ... plenty of Angel n00bs have spent threads dissing such things as the halo, because they don't care enough to figure out WHATS causing the problem - and fix it ...

With proper adjustments to the ram and rise, you should have nooo problems - the a4 bolt supposivly helps alot also - but i've always had it - so i can't say it solved anything ... Paint matters ALOT ... if ure using crap paint, its not gunna seat correctly when being forced into the breech...

i had problems for a bit - had a master tech help me out, and have had FLAWLESS halo performance since ... i've chopped one (1) single ball since i've had the halo ... atleast 2500 shots later, it's stayed that way ...

i agree with alphakry
i got my first angel (speed) recently ive only used it with my halo. the only time i broke paint is when i accidentally used the wrong barrel bore.
i feel certain that any problem can be remedied by simply reading a few posts, or heaven forbid RTFM
