i think youre okay as long as the tank doesnt output more than 800 psi - you probably wont be able to use any volumizers though. If you find yourself shooting hot, you can decrease your dwell to try to compensate. I think theres also a way to rearrange the minireg spring stack to compensate for LP output. Otherwise you'll have to get an LP tank or an aftermarket reg.

you just spent over a thousand dollars on a very nice gun , why chance it with tank that might screw your whole setup. Get an ajustable tank and don't worry about it.

If you've had the tank for a while you should just buy a new one that is lp. Crossfires are cheap and really nice thats what I own. Just make sure it's lp.

Where did you buy it C]-[iLDe? I haven't seen them for less than $180, and that's direct from Crossfire.

I was thinking about getting one from there, but I wasn't sure if I was going to get the newer style tanks.

If it helps any I got mine on Thursday, so it was a really recent purchase. Nowhere on the tank does it say Crossfire. Only on the reg. The tank I have has a manufacture date of 06/03. It is made by SCI Composites. I'm pretty sure this is the newer tank since the older ones had the Crossfire logo on them. If it helps I can take a picture of my tank.

That'd really help if you could.
edit: I'm not really positive which is the newer tank though, I've seen both. I think it's the light grey one, not the black. :dunno:
edit ...again: I found this information on PbNation.

The newer tanks are the light grey/white ones.
The new tanks have the Crossfire Logo on it.

Here is a pic of the tank I just got. It's light grey/white but has no Crossfire logo on the tank. Just the reg. So is this the new one or the old one? Looks like we have conflicting reports above.

So would it be safe to say that this is the newer tank?
