Gated Feed

Does anyone think the gated feed is useful? I'm starting to thinking it is better to not have it.

I plan to get a twist lock low rise anyway.

If you have a force fed loader, it is useless until you are down to the last 10 balls.
The sensor on a Richochet also acts as a gated feed, the balls only travel one way.
