At this years PSP World Cup 2003, a fight broke out during an X-Ball game with Lane Wright (Owner of PSP) and a camera man. The camera man was lying down in the middle of the field filming the game. I guess Lane was wondering why the hell he was there in the middle of the field. Check it out for yourself.....

Lane did have a nice bruise on the side of his face when I saw him the next morning. Anyways, check it out.

why did the camera man get all mad. he was not allowed to be on the field like that. what an idiot. I hope he wont be a camera man anymore.
I wish we could find the real story too it...
The ref grabbed his camera.

He got mad because Lane grabbed his camera. The guy wouldn't move, Lane got pissed, camera-man got mad, and they fought.

anybody remember the game with shock v dynasty. One of the aftershock wouldnt let the ref pull him and kept shooting and the refs were trying to tackle him. Very entertaining.

as it's pretty big news locally here in Texas I'll give y'all the rundown.
That game was Texas Storm vs Legacy.
The cameraman on the field was a personal cameraman for team Legacy. 720 had bought the rights to film the divisional X-ball games. So there should've only been cameras from 720 on the field. Lane went over to the cameraman and asked him to leave the field, he refused to Lane went to "force" him to leave the field. The fight broke out between the 2 and all the refs got involved. So instead of reffing the game and a point that Texas Storm was about to win, they restarted the point, reset the clock to what it was before that game and Storm went on to lose.
As this cameraman was affiliated with Legacy he never should've been inside the net, let alone on the field. He was physically escorted off the property, and apparently all the way to Orlando International Airport as well.
Here's a thread from a local board here in Texas where it's discussed some more, and one of the guys from 720 responded as well.

i'm thinkin Lane could have handeled that a little better....WTF was he thinkin?
seriously he should have never walked on the field during play and simply had that guy removed during the break...scene avoided problem solved.
funny as it may have been that was about as stupid and un-professional as you could get.

actually Raistlin...if you read some of what was said about that point. Storm was in a 4 on 1 and the last guy was apparently in the snake, they were going to win that point. If they had won that point would they have won the match?:dunno: but it certainly wouldn't have given Legacy any momentum.
