i recently got a Speed Demon
i havent done anything to it completely stock
dwell is 3 green lights
LPR is stock
im about to put volumizer on it
then im going to remove 1 thick shim to get pressure around 72psi
and up dwell
but any solutions for it being sooooo loud?

Maybe try a different barrel. Freak with AA tip is nice.

what do u mean a thick shim? are u gunna screw with the spring stack? cus i dont know if you should screw with that.

if ur dryfiring it, angels are about the loudest guns i've ever dryfired before (its up there with spyders). but with paint, my angel is super quiet, trust me.

you are on the right track
add that Volumizer:
drop the lpr (as you plan)
go with 3 green, 1 yellow light for dwell
then dial your minireg all the way in and dial out until your gun fires at the velocity you like.

It may seem loud when you're firing it, but have you heard someone shoot it? As in, you stand back and listen? My speed seems loud up close, but when you step back it's pretty quiet.
Here's my suggestion if you're willing to try it.
Do the breech O-ring mod. If you don't know what this is, search the forums for the how-to thread. IT's basically somewhat of a better seal in the breech, dampening noise. Good luck.

Add a volumizer, lower LPR and remove 1 or 2 shims
