Hi,

I was testing a 68/4500 System X tank I just got used (one year old) and was shooting a string of balls and got HORRIBLE drop off...so bad it was spitting out the balls. This happed for the whole tank full.

I then took it off and put on my 68/3000 Nitro Duck which is 2 years old and did the same test with the same speed settings...it performed flawless with NO DROP OFF. Both of these are HP.

Whats the reason for this...is my sysx bad? Just need a new regulator on it? Any ideas?

Im just glad it wasnt my speed causing it...

you guys should check your tanks if you are getting bad drop off also.

the sys. x probably has a completely different output preassure, try to add some shims to the LPR

yes, it sounds like an output pressure problem. Check the output pressure on the tank you're experiencing problems with. Determine what it is and then you'll know how you need to set up your Speed.

Maybe the reg is dirty on the system x, could just use a good cleaning and greasing.

They are both HP tanks...but I have no gauge to check what they are actually doing.

Could it be the regulator on the tank is bad and not keeping up? I dont know how to clean it...

thanks for the help guys.

if your tank is not recharging fast enough then yes that could be starving your marker for air. You need to visit a local pro shop and have it tested tho.

couldnt see if he tries it on another persons marker? i mean that should show whether the tank reg is messed or not...right?

i know your problem already...system x is ****...everything they make is **** along with 3a. Cheap tanks (or regs i should say cause tank brand really dont matter) do not keep up with faster guns. I had horrible drop of on a 3a tank till i gotr a real pure energy tank....then it prefromed flawlessly
