After sweating in the heat watching Strange lose to Element, I discovered that the Angel Techs were in the Players Only portion of the NPPL tourney area. So I sweet talked my way into a wrist band and found them around 10am Sat. Nov. 8th.
First - At any tournament where smartparts is around, (not at this one because orlando tired them out), a large number of people are waiting for service. But at the Angel Tech desk, nobody was needing service on their Angels, which I found simply amazing. Testament to a great product.

Second - Ken Crane introduced himself and Russ and other techs to me. Royal treatment. They took two seconds to drop a new LCD screen in my Force4 and it's now absolutely perfect. A real class act, anyone considering an Angel4 would be a fool not to invest in the Force4 and receive the top-notch service and care that goes with it.



Fourth - They had just received the new backplates, but didn't have them at the desk. Ken was enthusiastic about the depth of the Bas Relief (3d look to you non-art-people)

The vendor turnout was poor compared to World Cup. I left at 11am as it began to rain.

If my wife will let me, I'm gonna drop back by tomorrow to get a backplate. I'll check this thread just before I leave at 7AM tomorrow if anyone has a question I should ask if i go.

bit OT but do you have nay idea if VL was selling their y-boards there?

VL is there. I'm pretty sure they are selling their Z boards (Z), but a big crowd was there and I was too impatient to wait.

googly - I'm pretty sure warpig keeps updated results from the major tourneys.

teh z board is worth it, i have not chopped 1 single ball in any gun i have shot using teh z board egg, it is definately worth 30 bucks, a bit of a bear to instal yourself because the ports and plugs are in different locations

UFC...the reason it was edited was because there are things you stated that included info that is not ready to be released to the public as of yet.:wink: If you've got any bad feelings about it I'm sorry. All will be revealed in good time.

incidentally, i asked Ken and he told me what i could write, but if you know different, then that's why you're in charge!
it's exciting though, and i'm looking forward to things.

no BIll it's not like that...UFC posted some information that was given to him that has not been released to John Q. Public, as such it was removed from circulation until the Tech's are ready to release said information.

it was that we were sitting with blueprints of the new master tech aftermarket parts.we have a line of accessories like triggers,buttons,stuff like that.no big secret but we want to make sure we get it right the first time.

are these new parts going to be for the speed or the four/ force four or both

they are being specifically designed for the Force 4, but they are planning to make plenty to go around so you will be able to put them on any other 4, some of them will obviously fit the Speed as well (ie buttons, backplates) whereas some likely won't fit the Speed (ie grip, trigger etc)
