Best ball detent?

Who makes the best ball detent for the angels??? I was breaking a lot of paint this weekend and couldnt figure out why, then when we got back to the shop i took apart my gun to clean it and took out my detent. The ball was sticking out really far and i put my friends IR3 detent in and then my angel was fixed.

I replaced mine in the the name of preventitive maintenance about 20xxx ago with a Warped and have had no problems. It's not bad looking, but I got a really good deal on it from Ebay.

One of my teammates had the same problem at a tourney and he ended up having to borrow my cocker for the rest of the day since the field was out of detents. I decided from that day on to keep an extra in the gear bag.

i haven't used one yet, but im planning on going down to cobra this weekend to pick up one of their new detents. They use the same style of ball detent i think, but perhaps its made out of some new material(not completely sure of that) and there is an allen screw hole thing that u can unscrew to take out the ball detent and clean all the pait and old oil and what-not that might find its way in there. Like Jason said, it is a very good design and i plan on testing it out, because im tired of having to keep buying thesse little 5 dolar ball detents every other month.

mine was less then 2 months and had less then 20,000 on it and it broke, anyway it depends on what Mark has at impact and what National has. Atleast for now.

my ball detent was a stock silver one. the plastic ball lew out after 25,000 shots. I now keep a couple extras on me at all times

I bought an Adrenaline ball detent just to try it out than a stock one, works alright for me.. looks cool in the nicely done anodized colors like other ball detents can offer you
