View Full Version : What is needed to make videos?

Alright, my dad just bought one of those new DVD camera recorders. He also bought a nice new computer with DVD RW and all that other junk. Something I have always wanted to do is make paintball videos. I don't know what is needed to format and add music and put certain clips where so can any of you smart computer guys or girls out there help me out a little? I jsut need the basics of what is needed to start. Thanks all.

you probably got some kind of video editor with ether the camera or the dvd recorder

if not there are a bunch out there, i havent really used any so i cant recommend one

ok, first like Moogle said, you are going to need something to edit with. you could either get a program on your computer (ie. Velocity), or you could get an amiga computer editor.(i know this cause my dad owns a video production company) hope this helps!

an easy beginner program (Premier is a bit confusing to people new to this) is Windows Movie Editor it comes free with XP... and i tyhink it only runs on XP... took me 10 minutes to master.

Also you only can export to .WMV file format ...
