What dwell do you guys use for those 40 degree days of ballin? Do you base it off the paint quality or weather?

in weather that cold I would probably turn it up a little. The shell is going to be more brittle, so you'll want the higher dwell to be kinder on the paint

the difference between 14 and 15 probably isn't very noticeable on your air useage. What maybe 20 shots at the most??? I couldn't honestly answer that question tho. You might notice a big jump between 14 and say 18 or 19, but not 1 increment

ideally by turning your dwell up you should not blow up your paint, however that will not stop chopping. Simply turn your dwell up a point at a time til you're happy with it. I was using Sever at Cup in my IR3, and I had to turn my dwell up to 16 from the default 14. It's just cuz the shell was brittle.

Also, dont forget about paint issues in cold weather and how frash the batch of paint may be, etc. etc.... so dont always assume its your Angel that is the problem
Barrel bore/paint bore tolerances if you are experiencing a lot of breaks.. could be due to weather depending on your area like I said
