Have some respect man. Brass Eagle does so much for paintball that goes unseen its not even funny. Brass Eagle saved both JT and Viewloader so if it wasn't for BE then there wouldn't be any more revvies or eggs or pro flexes or Tournament pants. Brass Eagle helped design, produce, and market the Angel. So without Brass Eagle you wouldn't be able to call yourself an Angel owner.
Yeh, Brass Eagle markers aren't the greatest but come on be reasonable. Don't expect to have a $35 marker perform just like a $700 marker. Brass Eagle markers get a bad wrap because people buy them to mess around with and don't care for them well. Don't expect your TigerShark to be in top knotch condition after you've slammed it against a rock and let it sit under your bed for a year without any maintenance done to it.

holy crap thats really weird.
Brass eagle isnt a paintball company by nature, in fact paintball is just a small branch. Its very odd that a snowboard company would buy a Gun and ammunition company. (you all probably have brass eagle BB guns or something)

there's many companies that were not originally paintball companies....JT was one of the first, Scott is another...neither of these companies had anything to do with paintball for a long time

after hearing about this i went to sbreview.com (yes the same pbr we know)and looked at k2 stuff..check it out for yourself. they got 1 review and they got a 9.0. not bad.
i hope JT will stay a seperate branch... DYE should have bought out JT for comlete monopoly in the pb industry.

I seem to recall Dye and jt having some bad blood between them though.

yes, there is, dave youngblood enterprises split from jt, well dave himself did, he started as a barrel maker who just brought an unmarketed stand to national tournaments and told people they were good. Obviously people liked him and years later, we have DYE
so dave used to work for jt, now he beats jt in sales. thats why theres bad blood
also, dye wouldnt have a completely monopoly, maybe on apparrel, but National Paintball Supply pretty much owns everything in the industry except dye and jt, but jt works with NPS. so there ya go, NPS=biggest company in paintball

part of the "bad blood" between DYE and JT also stems from the name Ironmen....you'll also note that Bob Long is part of this....why? Well because years ago they all played together before splitting. At one point there was 3 teams with the Ironmen name. There was SC Ironmen, Bob Long's Ironmen, and Dave Youngbloods Ironmen....obviously there's only 1 now, but really Bob only dropped the name this year because the NXL rules saying only 1 team can claim a name.

when JT was privatley owned, dye didnt venture out much because dy didnt want to take sales away froom gregory (then owner of JT) but when JT was sold to BE DY went out and started to compete with JT, since gregory had left.

and good skis and snowboards :)
As a company i think k2 will put many creative and amazing products out, with just as much craftmanship as there other AMAZING products. BE might just become a good name again instead of being a call for when your marker goes down on the feild.

probably nothing. I doubt they will change much to the BE paintball side. BE didn't drastically change viewloader, K2 will most likey just leave the paintball division alone
