How reliable and durable is it compared to other systems like Armageddon's and Apocolypse's etc.? Is it wise to but the rebuild kits when you buy a brand new AIR? Also, where's the cheapest place to get one brand new? I've seen prices from a little over $500 to close to $600.

Thanks!

there's a couple of these thread already.

I've been using my AIR since I picked it up at Cup last year. It went straight on my IR3, and never came off until I switched it to my 4. It's been great, and it's consistant, and has a good recharge rate. Very satisfied with it.

Had my air on my speed and now its on my demon. Had it for about a year now, and not one single problem with it. Consistent, high flow, balanced and has been nothing but a god sent for my shot to shot fps. Very satisified. i just don't know where the problems are that everyone is getting....cept for flash fill

3 years and going strong. I don't think that I'll ever have a use for or want to use another air system.

Had it for almost a year. It is bad ass. I could do without the weight but its not all that bad if you have your set up balance right. People may bitch about the digital display but I think it is pimp. On the old mini gauges, you cant tell what is what so I like my AIR. It has a great flow, recharge etc. etc. I have gone through probably 6 different air systems in the last 5 years but this is the only one I actually didnt sell. I am putting it on my soon to be my new Force4. As far as the bad reviews, its not that AIR is a bad air system, in fact it is probably one of the best if not the best, its just that people give bad reviews to something that is expensive. Shoot, Ive seen some damn good reviews for Spyders. YOu will never see me with one in a tourney though. My advise: if you want a good air system for a good price, look for an old Flatline by AGD (light and pretty good). If you want the best, get the AIR.

I've had mine for over a year (68/4500), and it was first installed on my IR3, now on my 4. Works great. I may be buying a used 88/4500 AIR only because I'm starting to play back a little more.

No problems with re-charge or consistency. Usually +/- 3-4 fps, sometimes less.

had a few problems with it. it was flasfilled and orings burst which was not nice. it has been fixed but now it's leaking a little.

so there is some truth to the reliability problems of this system. i wouldn't buy a new one anymore because of my experiences with this reg. it's pretty consistent though.

I switched to an AIR about 2 years ago and haven't wanted to shoot my Angels with anything else. First had it on my LCD, and now it's on my Mamba IR3. Amazingly consistent, reliable, and has a great recharge rate. In the 2 years that I've had mine the only problem occured about a week ago with a leak through the Cover Screen, but that was fixed easily enough thanks to Moogle helping me find out what the problem was. In my opinion the best HPA system for an Angel is none other than the Angel AIR.

Straight into my gun, no issues at all. Never going to any other system.
