I haven't played in 2 1/2 months. I am going friggin crazy. Seriously, sometimes I just feel the urge to cry. When I'm not sad, I'm angry and bitch at people. To the parents out there, let your kids play. To the kids, make your parents let you play. It's very distressing not being able to play for a long amount of time.

I remember when mine was first born..I went more than a few months before I got to play again.....of course now she's old enough to come hang out at certain fields with me so I get to play a little more often, at least that is if it's not practice:wink:

There's no doubt that I'll be playing soon enough. I'm also not saying that my son keps me from playing, he's just more important than playing ball right now. Kids make people change and I love every minute of it. I can't wait to take him to the fields, and he can start playing between 8-10. I feel sorry for all the guys in the Armed Forces out there that don't have a choice if they can play or not. We should consider ourselves lucky to have the option.

thog....I agree....mine can't wait til she can play....and as it stands right now if I never buy another marker (yeah right) she's gonna start with my Dark IR3, yeah she can hold it up in it's current incarnation.

As for those that can't play....I was once one of those, and I miss some of those times. They're doing a job that not everyone wants to do, but they're doing it because it's right.....I'm gonna stop before I start preaching.

being a kid has its advantages, i got practice 3 times a week. Longest ive gone with out playing is like 2 weeks i think. Any way if you cant go out any play, pick up your gun adn do soem drills around the house,bunker your dog or cat. Superman over the couch and youll be with it in no time.

i hate nebraska because there is no way i can play in the winter. last year was horrible. u should have seen me at school. if u would watch my hands i was constantly "practicing" my walking techniques. well i guess i havent stopped doing that yet. but still. its sucks

It's a great way to blow off steam after a stressful week at work. The madder I am, the better I play.

By the way Emmit...I'm up for adoption...:angel:

Typical Sailor:sailor::smile:

My oldest has been playin' for about 5 years now (just dated myself) and my middle one played her first game a couple of weeks ago. But on the topic of withdrawal if I don't play for a week I can't stand it. To the point my wife says she doesn't even want to deal with me if I haven't played in a while.
