I'm looking at possibly installing a shutoff valve between my
a4 and AiR ayone have any first hand experince with this ?

it's a knob that replaces the grub screw on the front of your reg for adjusting pressure etc...only works on old style AIR where the retaining nut is flush with the body of the reg, not the new style with the raised nut.

what is the difference between the flush nut on the old reg and the new nut extending out from the reg body? (i mean it can't just be for looks can it? gotta be some elongated internal part or room for adjustment maybe)

there's some flow differences etc...the newer style had some increased performance to it.

Emmit, I wonder if it possible to made a thumb screw longer than the Cobra one will work for the new style? is ther a reason why no one making a longer version for new AIR?
