Has anyone heard a rumor about an incident involving Team Avalanche at the World Cup? I don't want to spread a rumor until I know it's true.

Where?
Does it really matter by now??? Hmmm Check this out.....
If Salm is banned for a year from the NPPL then at the LA Open in 2004 he can be an AM again? If I remember the rules right anyone playing a certain division can drop down one division after not playing for a year on the circuit. Which by then he should techically be an AM again. But Im sure the NPPL will make an addendum to take care of this situation which hasn't been issued yet. Loop holes is all Im saying. Think about it.

yes hep, that is true, BUT Brass Eagle has stated that he will NEVER play for a BE, JT, VL sponsored team again. seeing as most GOOD teams are sponsored by one of the many brass eagle names. More than likely, other compaines will follow in brass eagle's footsteps...needless to say, Salm's paintball career is probably over....just to shoot some ALL AMERICANS in the back <<and why did he choose to shoot the All A's?!?!...he could have chosen a diff team to sissy-pop from the sidelines...>>

psst...it was GZ Gold one of 2 GZ Pro teams...
however yes his career on any sponsored teams is probably over...but that's probably not going to stop him from playing for someone that isn't...There are actaully quite a few teams that aren't sponsored by JT/BE/VL so we'll just have to wait til 2004. However I do think we've pretty much killed the speculation on this matter.

From what I've heard, this wasn't an isolated incident, and that Mr.Snipes was at work against almost every team Avalanche faced, I'm really thinking this is shadier then just 1 baller, which would suck, because I like 'lanche alot.
Jason, cool your jets.

this was copied from Warped Sportz this morning, it is a press release from 11-01
11-01-02
In Response to the Incident At NPPL-PSP World Cup
After speaking to the members Team Avalanche, Warped Sportz is convinced the incident that occurred at World Cup 2002 was the act of an individual. The player in question acted without the knowledge or involvement of any other team member. As a result, the player in question will no longer be associated with Warped Sportz, Inc. and will not be allowed to play for any Warped sponsored team again.
The team as a unit must take some responsibility for the behavior of one of its members. Warped Sportz will be adding an even stricter behavior clause to the team’s contract for the 2003 season.
We feel we have taken adequate actions in response to an incredibly unfortunate incident, said Warped Sportz Marketing & Promotions Director Dan Napoli. We will continue to support and promote the collective of Avalanche. We still believe that an emphasis on the professional circuit, and more specifically the promotion of Avalanche and their standout personalities, is the best way to help the sport continue to grow in the right direction.

CRAP!!...that is the SECOND time I have said the All Americans instead of Ground Zero!!!!...i keep getting confused cos it was the All A's that I overheard bragging about one of their teammates being on some kind of rules commission and trying to get Avalanche gone for next year......I try to be like wee-man and kick myself in my head.....

What the **** was running through Salms head when he did that? Seriously. I mean, I can understand wipping(doesn't mean it's right or acceptable in any case), but shooting players from off-field is terrible. I'd never play on a team with him.
(edited for profanity, let's keep it clean)
