The rotor breech block that exposes the bolt is jammed, it won't open. I don't know how this happened but no matter how hard I pull at it, it does not open. All I've done with it is shoot aboutt 800 shots through it so I have no idea why it would get jammed. Should I take it to a pro shop or do it the old fashioned way... with a sledge hammer.

make sure the bolt is ALL the way back........stick a swab down and push it back or air it up

That's about the only thing that would keep it from swinging open.

yeah that was it, thanks. I took the bolt out and it looked kind of scratched up, is that a bad thing? Will that create friction?

I don't know, the hammer is stock so whatever the stock is.

i see the thing inside of the bolt is gold, is that the ram?
lol no
See the shiny silver pin sticking out of the bolt? Place the bolt in your breech, with the breech open, and look where it goes into. That's the hammer.

Then it's satinless. No the scratches on your bolt are not a bad thing. Just the process in the bolt "breaking in".

Not the RAM the hammer. The brass hammers are softer (duh) that the stainless ones. Over time this can lead to a "dent" in the rear of the hammer making it diffucult to open the breach sometimes. But I could swear I read eariler in this thread that he fixed/figured out the problem.
