Quick question. Will de-bounce be a feature on the 4 board for the speed?

Since the A4 is essentially a Speed Platform...

Warped was sayin' $150.00 (but in fairness he wasn't sure exactly) and that it was startin' sometime next week.

yeah i know a4 boards are 200 dollars off like 2 sites ive seen them on so i was just guessing. i really hope they are 150 though that would be really nice

now, do u have to buy a special board or is it jsut a normal a4 board? cuz TAG has em. 200 really is a good price i mean, its a board, lcd screen, buttons, and microswitch in one single unit

yep Russ told me the board is $200 so that's the definate price, wish it would work in ir3's :(

so if you get it for your speed you will be able to adjust ur trigger to .1 cm, or whatever it said it was that was thinner than like a human hair?

I think all opti boards can do that (like IR3)... however, since the A4 is the only one with the "vernier" rollers, I think it will be the easiest to adjust that close.

The speed w/the "4" board should be able to get that close with a lot of patience and tuning.

sorta......the Opto board in the IR3 was supposed to allow you to achieve a SUPER short trigger pull, however if you ever tried it wasn't easy. There is a point where the set screw starts to dig into the grip frame, but this is also right about the point that you want that super short trigger pull, to get the pull that short you really have to yank on the trigger to break it free from the grip frame, not very feasible.

By removing all the set screws in the trigger on the 4 and going to the wheels in the body, you no longer have anything digging into the body, and you're supposed to be able to make the shortest trigger pull possible.....I however left my trigger in the same position it came in from the factory and I'm ripping away at this beast like no one's business.

ah, now I know why at WDP booths they always add another set screw on the trigger to change the position and remove that "break"... and then it is faster and shortest.

well it turns out i have to pay for my speed board replacement at $135. so i thought i might as well get an a4 board for $200 then. but the guy at the shop says it's not gonna work and it will void the warranty and stuff like that. and i couldnt find any stuff on the a4 board for the speed at the warped site so im confused.

and it's a board sold like an aftermarket board that can be used in speeds and i'm hearing that it's working in ir3's as well, if the ir3 one is true then it will probably also work in lcd's

the board is out now, advertised on angelservicecenter.com for $200 (just like Moogle said) and im sure the other sponsors probably have or will have them soon
