what is the difference between fanning and walking the trigger?

Walking is when you move your fingers like they were walking. Fanning is when you move your fingers or whole handback and forth like you were fanning yourself.

Take your hand and wave it back and forth like you had a oriental (SP?) fan in your hand. That's fanning.

Ok, I got the idea of fanning, but why is it uncommon or considered cheap, it doesn't seem faster than walking?
Bah fanning isn't cheap...
I use it mainly when snap shooting.

if the other person is sent to the dead box. then it doesn't matter if you pulled the trigger with your big toe, off footed, at 0.5 bps. they are still gone and you can shoot however is comfortable to you.
