does anyone but me think the ace is a waste of time when the speed comes with the sensi?

I sorry all you ACE fans but it just seems redundant to me. I think the sensi works just fine if you take the time to set it up.

Haven't used anything more advanced than cops1, so I'm definitely going with the Was/Eyes combo. I know mine is insanely fast.

where the hell do you get WAS !?!? and ew i would never degrade i think the stock bord is way better than any was board. sensi is far superior to the eye because when you have the ace it lowers your speed SENSI GO GO GO!

i "think" the stock is better than was and ive heard from numerous people that once they get ace it reduces to 22 bps

WOW!!! ONLY 22 BPS!!!!!

i cant out shoot my halo with the sensi #2. so i will stick with it. it is an anti chop system without drilling holes in the side of a nice looking gun and putting more stuff on the outside.

I think ACE is pimp...but i also think its a waste of money. i mean c'mon....200 bux. vision isnt even that much!

what i dont understand is how sensi is supposed to be consistant, when it is also supposed to be bone dry.

1 break - and you've got paint all the way down ure sensi rod, and on your strip ...

everyone always says "keep it bone dry!" ... so in theory, does it not just malfunction after its purpose is defeated? (1 break, and ure soaked).

i have yet to determine the performance of my Sensi ... i've had a few chops, most of the days i went out ... so i dunno just yet

then you just turn it off untill you can clean it... the ace is the same way, paint on an eye will cuse it to always see a broken beam.

If an optical antichop system is programmed well, it can detect if it's got dirt obstructing the transmitter/receiver. The system should see a small gap everytime it's fired (before the next ball loads) and if it doesn't, it can fall back to a pre-set ROF cap until the eyes are cleared - markers with blowback like the Angel may clear the sensors by themselves.

On SENSi, it's another case. If the sensing rod has good contact with the marker body (through dirt in the channel etc) it can read the vibration caused by the marker's cycle as a ball hitting the sensor, effectively telling SENSi there is a ball when there actually is none, making it easier to chop.

ACE systems also detect if a ball just bounces in the breech and jumps back up the feedneck when running low in the stack, but SENSi registers the ball as present from the first impact on the sensor.

Agreed, SENSi makes the marker look nicer, but without a good hopper and some common sense it's performance is still a bit lacking when compared to a good optical throughbeam ACE.

(The 22bps limit w/ACE applies when using the original Speed board. Upgrade boards shouldn't be limited by WDP's "No-SENSi" mode's limit.)

so i am told, by WAS himself, that if you just get yoru gun milled for eyes, go buy,
timmy was board
transmitting and receiver eye
a microswitch,
and a timmy 12pt or 14 pt (if you want to try and make lcd)
and assemble it in teh marker, it should work with the only modifications being some special mounting, and having to solder wires to everything

Hmmm, don't tell me things like this, I smell "project"
Oh, my poor iR3, time to sacrifice to the tinker gods...
