Consider the source, as in PBN...

Jim Drew stated that he gave Dynasty boards, but that doesn't mean they will use them. We won't let Dynasty use something that we feel is inferior than the stock part.

Bleh! I spoke with WAS in reference to an Equalizer for the LCD. It's amazing how fast gossip travels on the internet.

Have you guys considered that WAS boards don't use an opto switch? Didn't think so...

I'd rather use a microswitch.
I prefer it.

For the LCD or speed?

If WAS does decide to do the board. U will probably have to drill holes for the ACE system. i seriously doubt WAS will release a board using the existing SENSI.

Hmm... I don't know. I would think that any electro board would view any ACE (sensi, etc) in the same way. I mean, all the sensor is doing is telling the board there is a closed connection right?

actually you are all wrong. ive been talking to was. Dynasty has enough timmy was boards and will be using them in all of their angels. this mod can be done to any speed.
what is it?

take a speed, get it milled to accept eyes.
throw away your sensi, throw away your led board.
throw a set of timmy eyes in the gun.
put in a microswitch,
and finally, pop a timmy was board in there. wire it all up, and PRESTO!!! youve got an angel speed on roids

Good in theory... but considering the Angel's 14-way is much different than all the other guns... it's not going to work. Besides, if you want all that timmy sh*t in there, buy a timmy!

then tell me why are 2 of the dynasty players and very soon the whole team running this setup? blah blah blah. if you look at it, timmy and angel are very much alike. they both have similiar lpr's, except the angel lpr is incorporated into one of the tubes, rather than hanging outside the gun.
second they both use a ram and hammer to hit a poppet with a cup seal sort of piece. except that the angel ram is its own separate unit to the gun, and that teh timmy has air lines running from the noid to the ram, where the angel has the ram sitting right under the noid. both guns use a hammer connected to a bolt. the difference in each gun is the way each part is used, made to get teh job done, the angel simply stuffs it all into 3 tubes, the timmy, has things a little more separated apart.

btw, go to pbn and ask WAS about this, he will tell you that it works

the WAS boards are the fasting things out there. if it comes with their eye, it'll be cheaper than buying ace, plus u get teh equalizer board. i want one :)

given the amount of time it took WAS to make their board for the Impulse (which still isn't available for sale, I might add), I certainly wouldn't hold my breath waiting for an Angel board.

i migth actually try this, i told my friend about this and he wants me to do it to his speed, he just wants me to bypass the eyes so he can have it now without gettin it milled just yet.
