I'm not very good with angel tinkering. I've always used angels but never did my own work. I was wondering if someone could assist me with lowering my Lpr pressure. Also if you could give me some suggestions on on a good setup I would really appreciate it. I am using a 88ci 4500, 500psi preset Pure Energy Tank. I am a back player,so I need pretty good effeciency, and I feel like i'm chopping too many balls. Thanks guys.

The only way to lower your LPR is to remove shims. Do you have a Tool Kit? Also for a setup check out Bena's "we need a sticky" thread on page 2. As for chopping it's all in the setup (ram/detents/sensi)

i get my Speed today sometime. I want to make it the lowest pressured most efficient gun I can. I have heard that lowering LPR helps and i've heard I can leave it alone.

1) Should I or shouldn't I mess with the lpr?
2) I don't have the toolkit to check pressure..how many shims should i remove to get it in the 60's range for pressure?
3) Will messing with the LPR do anything noticeable? Like if i compare it to my friends speed which is stock (cept for a TAG volumizer) will there be a difference (in kick or consitancy, etc..)

Let the Speed be stock for a while even then the temptattion is high to tinker around with it. I did mess with it and after a lot of tinkering I basically reverted everything to stock settings. Except dwell. Add a TAG or other volumizer if you want lp and maybe up your dwell. Shoot with this setup for a while and if you don't like something then change it.
The Speed is so good because you don't have to upgrade almost instantly when you buy the gun.

Don't screw with your LPR without a tool kit. As for running it in the 60's I know there are some trails being run by some people but I haven't seen any results posted yet. The lowest I've seen recommended was 70 by Frazier. As for "kick" a lower LPR will mean a lower recoil as the Ram/Hammer is moving with less force. But it is posible to set the LPR to low and you'll get drop off on long shot strings. Just remember to recheck the LPR after about 8K shots or so as it tkes about that long to "break in" and it may drop needing to be reset.
