WDP has the high-end covered when it comes to guns, and now they've extended into high-end pants and and gloves. This pricey technical apparel is pricey, but sacrifices nothing in quality and performance. Look for WDP's new line to hit stores shortly.
Angel All Weather Pants - Technical Apparel
The Angel Pant's style is derived from an advanced ergonomic construction with a helix seam, designed to body-map the pant to the natural lines of the user, allowing friction free movement.
The pouch will grip a 140 round tube, meaning back players can carry an extra 2 pods, and front players may not need to wear a pack at all. A hi-stretch Spandex weave carrying a wing design is also used in the side paneling to create a totally non-restrictive design.
Side Paneling is shaped with a Helix Seam and is followed by a pod pouch on either leg
Rear leg panels are also constructed from Ballistic Nylon with an ergonomic knee-pit vent for lower leg ventilation. Knee Pad access is provided through a tough 8 inch molded zipper with adjustable ballistic cover and Angel gripper tab.
The inner lining is made form an airtech mesh which is cool to the skin. This mesh will wick away any sweat quickly from the skin and will reduce static considerably.
Waist fit constructed from ballistic nylon for maximum available strength with flex.
The waist allows 5 inches of adjustment with a wide, non-slip Velcro fastening strip and Angel gripper Tab, which allows easy adjustment even with gloves. External belt loops are also included.
These pants will last longer than you do
The Pants fasten with rubber covered double poppers and a molded zip fly with ballistic nylon cover drainage ports. Internal silicon beading lines inside the waist act to prevent slippage, and a strong Laundry loop is added to the rear to air dry the pants.
Angel pants wrap around you rather than hanging off you, while advanced technical weave fabrics vent warm air through the pant, enabling cool air to enter with minimal movement while playing.
Without a doubt, the Angel pants are the highest quality pants available in paintball. They will outperform and outlast any pants on the market.
The Angel Glove is sculpted to fit with a second skin feel.
Every material in the glove will stretch , even the palm. The glove is vented throughout, from the palm to the tips of the fingers, to produce the most comfortable fit possible. The palm of the Angel Glove is constructed from Pittards carbon-fiber impregnated leather. Pittards, a UK company, makes the most expensive, sought after and performance realizing palm fabric money can buy, as used by Formula one drives. This material is only 6mm thick, but is amazingly strong, has a low profile feel, and is only second to human skin with its amazing grip characteristics.
An extended wrist design and Kevlar re-enforced heel patch provide extra protection when sliding. The performance palm leather is also extended around the side of the hand.
Micro-mesh venting on the sides of the fingers is used for the first time in paintball. Most glove manufacturers use Lycra, which is very sweaty as it cannot be properly perforated. The micro-mesh side panels on the Angel glove fingers allow major airflow to the hand with only minimal motion required to activate the flow.
The Thumb Web is the main interface between the hand, glove, and marker, effectively creating a shooting platform from which the marker is fired. The Angel glove grips your marker closer and more comfortably than any other glove.
Coolmax loose-weave mesh is used on the panels on the backs of the fingers. These panels are designed to stretch without tearing, thin breathable padding is used for extra protection.
Knuckle protection is provided by 4mm ergo-creased Aeroprene panels. These panels are perforated to prevent sweating and retain a body-sculpted memory for the second skin feel.
Center knuckle extremities are protected with a TPR Angel molding, while creating zero impediment on movement.

Gloves aren't too bad, right around the same price range as the rest of the market. But the pants, ouch!

my buddy ordered the pants with blue piping and the gloves with blue piping (he's a WDP dealer...WDP products wholesale for me baby!!!!!!!!). The gloves feel very nice...u can feel the air go through them...feels like a second skin. Beware if you have wide wrists or wide hands...he got XL and they barely went over his wrists and the fingers r slightly long. I'm going with larges since i have shorter fingers and a skinnier wrist so they should fit ALMOST perfect.
The pants look awesome. I'll probably order a pair in the future.
Actually saw the pants and gloves on e-bay.

Pants are awesome, they run a little tight tho. my son has 32 waist and had to get large. Also gloves do run small too xl wouldnt even fit over my wrist, the brits at Miami said the where getting same feedback and would come up with xxl.

Quick question, is there any sort of padding around the knee section on the pants? I like my JT 2003 pants as there is a little padding there and I would miss this feature if it wasn't there...
morant
11-17-2003, 11:43 AM
the knees are not padded at all....the material in the knees is about twice as thick as the material in the knees of say dye03 pants.
personally for a while i've thought all pb pants makers have been missing the boat on the kneepads....why not have a pockett inside the knee that fits small neoprene pads much like football pants?

the new dye and jt pants have like kevlar padding at the knees
If you want the pockets inside the pants to accept neoprene pads, then check with PJ, they have been doing this for a long time. I had a pair of the PJ destroyers a while ago, and it came with knee, and hip inserts
