View Full Version : I just noticed.
Ok,
I have never actually setup my own bottom line.... This whole time I have been playing paintball.
Whenever I have gotten my gun, the shop has done it for me.
Well... Now I want to remove my macro line so I can trim it a bit because I repositioned my on/off.
How do I get this thing off?

sometimes its kind of a pain....at the bottom of the fitting there is an extra little piece that u need to push up on in order to pull the hose out.... it may help if you push the hose up and then push on the little piece.......
Hmmm yea does sound like a pain...
Hope I understood that correctly... Go'na give it a shot.
EDIT: How do you put it back in?

BENA sorry dude but i gotta go to work ( already late :/ ) if you can wait till tonight i can have them posted or hopefully someone else can give u an even better description or even pics....ill try again tho:
look at the bottom of your fitting....you'll notice a little "gap" between the bottom and what looks like an extra silver piece.......that piece is waht keeps the fitting from coming out with the high pressure of hpa tanks.......like i said its kind of a pain but u gotta kind of work with it.....try pushing up on ur hose and then with ur other hand keep the silver piece pushed (so that there is no "gap" ) up and then try to pull out ur hose.......it may require some force
hope that helped....ill check when i get off work!
Ohhh I see...
Ok well thanks a lot man.
I'm gona keep try'n -I can wait.
Cya
Thanks

to remove the macro-line you push the entire piece of line in pulling the collet back at the same time, then hold the collet back while you pull the macro-line out.
SUCCESS!
Thanks again guys.
