When buying used, what's do you look for and what is a good price range for a 2001-2003 LCD?

Here are a few things that I make sure to ask or check out before buying a used Angel:

1) Last time it was used, tuned up, and how frequently it's used
2) How many owners it has had
3) Any modifications that were made to it
4) Look at the left side of the breech to make sure that there is no damage where the pin goes through
5) Type of board inside V1 or V2
6) Any minor or major problems in the past

Those are the major things that I look for. There is also the cosmetics aspect of the marker, that will tell you how it was used in the past. I also don't believe in the shot counter. It doesn't matter how many shots it has on it as long as it has been properly maintained.

As far as pricing of the gun, that's a little difficult. It all depends on what comes with it, air, hopper, barrels, etc... Take a look at the classifieds on here and that will give you a better idea.

This is a start and I'm sure that there will be other people helping you out on here

I found myself thanking God today that I'd gotten my 2000 Dark Angel at a decent shop. I'd had trouble with her the first day out... had to break out the pump for a good portion of the day instead. Took the gun back to the shop, where they fixed all her issues...... free of charge. Bottom line, I'd look for one at a shop that you trust, and have a good relationship with. Especially if, like me, you might not know much (or anything) about Angels before plunking down your bucks.

EDIT - Are you the same Wierd Guy from the Tippmann forum? :)
