Well I got my 4 this morning. After some mix ups, and some more delays it's here, and that's all that matters to me. Soon I'll be putting up pics in the pics thread, and I will be starting on my review either tonight or tomorrow. I've got a tournament Sunday, so we'll get to see how it performs in the clutch come Sunday. Sit back and hold on tight for one of my comprehensive reviews that attempts to answer all questions before they're asked.

BTW...I got the Denim Blue Polish, and it's so fricken sweet looking!!!!!:hitit:

it specifically says that it's not on the side of the box....but really what defines a toy? something you have fun with right:dunno: besides...we all know that the difference between men and boys is the price of their toys.....and how they use them:shocked:

I've already noticed a few things with it....I don't have any air at work :( but just kinda getting on the trigger a little bit I was able to hit 16 BPS, now that's no air so there's no bounce or anything. That should tell you how ridiculously easy to rip on this thing is. I haven't touched the trigger at all as for adjustments, and it seems to rip pretty good. I'm a little meh about the amount of side to side play in the trigger, but maybe that will help with higher ROF's, I guess I'll wait and see if someone makes a trigger that takes some of the slack out and see how it feels.

The Love Juice on the O-rings in the feedneck is THE ONLY way to get them in, and it was still tight...it took a little while to get the hopper in there just right.

The bolt is exactly as we've been saying....it's the R-11 bolt basically and there is a raised piece of rubber coming off the insert. This rubber gives the ball a soft touch and holds the ball off the insert, so no more cupping of the ball by the bolt.

I've got some Iron Cross detents that I plan to put on it tonight just because I like the way they looked. We'll see.....

trust me guys you won't be disappointed when I finally get this whole thing broken down and written up. I'm hoping to put at least 3+ cases through it this weekend.

just posted the first pic in the pic thread guys....

I'm gonna try to get lots of pics of it, and everything it has to offer. Then when I do the full review I'm gonna get all the pics uploaded with the help of Matt, so expect lots of pics and full write up. So far I'm thoroughly impressed with this thing. Having run some air through it at the shop I'm stunned. I'm chrono'd at about 295 and my input (according to my wonderful gauge) is 200psi:shocked:

clamping gated feed is nice........however as some people have said it's difficult to get the hopper in there (especially an Evlution2) I took out one of the o-rings and it goes in easier, and once you clamp it down it's not going anywhere.

for all those that were having problems with the Feed Neck....how many of you read the manual first? I'll admit I didn't read the manual when I first opened it up. I saw the O-rings, and though that's cool that they sent extra o-rings for later on....well that's not the case. WDP enclosed 2 different sizes of o-rings for use in the clamping feed neck. Now that's cool.

Sounds nice so far, hope that she does well for you tomorrow. Glad that the flash was making it look green, cause that would be 1 ugly blue! Keep the info coming...

AHHH much better in the sunlight. I'm still not decided on a color if I get one, but am partial to blue. I take it that they gauge is a pretty handy feature. They should aftermarket it so it can be universally used on other Angels

Emmit

thog that gauge is great....I know that at a little less than 200psi I was getting about 295ish....so even on an air system that you don't have as much fine tuning capability as with the AIR you can still use that gauge to get you in the close neighborhood before you chrono etc. Of course it's also there for all those LP junkies that really wanna know what they're pressure is at all times. It's in a good spot so as not to get hit (smart move WDP) over all the gauge is real nice....

damn....I'm gonna end up doing the full review here before it's all over and done with:lol:

I know this is off topic but...Emmit. How do you like your AIR? I have heard a bunch of people bash it and talk about what $hit it is. How has it worked for you? Oh yeah and your 4 is killer. :drools:

Emmit when you do your review and talk about pressures and such tell us your dwell setting, trigger offset and which volumizer just so we have a reference since these things will cause slightly different results when changed. Thanks

I'm also interested in the operating pressures but more related to air efficiency than anything else. I don't want to run lower pressures just for the sake of it, I want to find the best combination to get more shots out of my tank.
