Dark A4 ? ? ?

Anyone know if Warped Sportz will be releasing a dark version of the A4 in the future ?

cus, theres another thread on it, and warped sportz makes a Dark version of every angel that comes out, ever.

having spoken with someone at Warped it's not due for a few months....if you need a 4 now, your best bet is to get a stock model, and then sell it later when the Warped version comes out

Just haven't owned one since the 2nd lcd dark version. So, it's been a couple years. And the new A4's sounded nice, so i figured i would try one out, but wanted some info on if anyone knew if warped would be putting out a dark anytime in the near future. Thanks for the replys though.

Its a completely legitimate question that even a angel verteran might ask. The 2003 LCD is a model of its own, and warped planned on not making it, but changed thier mind last second resulting in only 60 being made

I heard from a friend who is down with warped LA (I know how reliable that sounds......not very) that said they weren't doing a dark 4 because they were committed to the demon. Anyway probably just a rumor that was misunderstood.

But I thought I would add my 2 cents.

(at least I didn't post another pictue of my blue 4 :evilgrin: )

well they still made them, jsut like every angel....except v6, that was before i was born...

i think they are for sure makin a 4 because the demon price was so lowered and they wont make as much profit if they sold the dark 4...JMO.....you know how much that it worth

In new news.......sources say that Warped is not making a Warped version of the 4 as they are working on making accessories etc to make your marker "pimpin" and cool.......guess it's stock 4's all around fellas.

I spoke to Warped West L.A., face to face, last week. As of last week (9/15/03), they have no plans on making a Dark A4.

I did not ask, but my guess is because they have concentrated their efforts on the Speed Demon. Because the A4 hit the market right after the Speed did, my guess is Warped did not feel it was a good business decision to go back to the drawing board and start over with new designs for a Dark A4 right after finishing the design of the Demon. Just my thoughts on why.

But I confirmed with the store that they are not making a Dark A4.

dynasty a4s and cobra a4s will be selling alot more this since ws isnt making one.. well at least i can make my a4 "pimpen cool" with dark stuff (new frame plz plz plz)

good news to me. That means a dark trigger. I can't wait till its released so i can buy everything all at once....warped charges about $10 minium shipping even if you are buying detents or a keychain

o yes.. a dark trigger....like a devil tail? or a demon shadow? probably some sick volumizers too, kick ass feedneck....what about new cooler skin grips...im still hoping for a newa grip frame that dosent look like its made for the hulk.

if you can re-confirm this with poorman, i (and i'm sure others) would appreciate knowing. thanks.

for some reason, i recall that statement being made about the speed demon, that's why i asked.

i'll check with warped again. if they do, not sure how much more they can mill/remove from the 4 body. it's already cut down a lot.

no i wasnt talking about the demon. the dark a4 is supposed to be out in the next few weeks. but who knows when theyll be happy enough with it to put it into full production. ill check into it again sometime this week when im there. probly know what im talking about for sure by monday. im gunna play their field this weekend and ask alot of quetions. yay im gunna play!

thats preaty much the werd we got from poorman october december area. For the dark a4 i imagine it will have the new cross ball detents there shank maximizer and maybe some other little features he didnt want to talk to me about.

cool...just wish it would come out sooner...i would have held off on getting my stock A4...then again, when you think about it, there's nothing really "stock" on an A4..he he

the only significant upgrades that i see being made would be for aesthetics and warranty. i don't think i'd mess with the performance. this thing rips as is!

I hear ya, my dilema is buy now or wait. I've got a Dark ir3, and really like that the resale value is higher then a stock ir3. I like the warranty too. The milling would be 3rd on my list of importance.

So, do I wait and see - or pop for a 4 now.
