View Full Version : How's the Anodizing?
The reason I ask is because of the Speed issue. Some of the first gen speeds had ano problems, like mine. Even though they were dipped at the same time, some colors don't match. My breech, reg, and VRA are lighter than my gun. Not by much, but it's noticeable. Another thing that angers me is the quality of the anodizing. The speed's isn't very thick/durable. This hasn't been a problem before on any angels I've owned or seen.
Now, the question remains:
How is the A4's anodizing? Better? Worse? This question obviously applies to A4 owners, or someone who has had the opportunity to scratch one
Thanks for any info given.

On the dust black there is a difference between the reg and the gun. Its not really noticeable unless you are looking for it. Other than that the anno is perfect, everything else matches.

they do the parts separetly which is why thte reg and end caps are usually different, i think it may also be about the dusts, i'd be interested to see if the dust blue 4's have problems

they prob do, if the black ones have probs, all of them are bound to have some prob, this is the first batch after all- although from all the delays u think it would be perfect...

They looked olive-brown to me so I went with blue polished. If they were more grenn I'm sure that is what I would have.

the pictures really don't look like the gun. I think the olive is more of a bronze in real life
