Hehehe, thats my gun your talking about. It rips very very fast. We put through 2 pods, and ripped through them so fast. 28 bps like Caz said with sensi on. No Chopping, no barrel breaks. The gun is awesome. It was shooting 24 bps consitantly. WE also got it to hit 28 three times, once with paint. This gun SCREAMS!!!

I'm playing at the OSG paintball wizard game on sunday. If you are there come and find me, I'll be the one with the dust black A4. I can't wait to see the accuracty on this thing. So far I am very impressed. Pics will be up later. See some of ya Sunday

It was a Halo B. I am not sure what software it had because it was Phuct's. It seemed like it had no problem keeping up, I just hope mine will be able to too.

I've seen 30bps of trigger bounce before, but not with paint. I didn't know these things were that fast. I guess it'll be hard for me to wait until the 4 is a few months old. Oh well, I'll be patient, only because I can't afford one, lol.

hey just a quick question, how much and how quickly will the price of the A4 drop? I haven't been around paintball all that long and seen a new introduction like this. I also haven't purchased a brand new Angel before but I've pretty much got my heart set on this one, so is it worth it to get it now or wait a few months?

prob give it a month or 2 to drop, like the speed did, then about a ylil less that a year later it will drop a whole lot, and
when the a5??? comes out it will bee 1000... i would get it now, the sooner u have an angel the better...i should know and it will only drop like $75-100 at the next drop

was hitting 24 while dry firing with Sensi off.....just went out and ran some paint through it for the first time....hit 28!!!!!!!! with an Evlution2, do not worry about this hopper starving your marker!

not a single chop in 5 pods with that Evlution 2 on there....and the read out said 28.....all I can say is what it shows....

remember none of this is a sustained ROF...heck it could mean that you just had a burst that peaked at 28bps.....however....this is one seriously sick and fast marker.

im not doubting your ability to read the A4's rof meter Emmit, im just wondering how even a BURST of 28 bps is possible with a hopper that barely reaches 20 under optimal conditions. Any ideas?

all I can say is Semi Mode 2, TR 1, dwell 11, stock trigger config....run those first few shots to calibrate sensi and let the Load Detection System do the rest:bounce:

as for the Evlution2's capabilities?:dunno: I know that I've been saying that the Evlution seems faster than the Halo for a while now...use the Energizer Titanium batteries and it spins like a bat outa hell

I do know that that was just ripping on it to rip on it, that obviously wasn't a game situation. However just for the heck of it I reset the ROF indicator before a game today, and in a game situation under pressure and trying to hit things you're shooting at....I was hitting 16 bps.....was the 28 possible? I don't know, heck someone else was hitting 28 the other day too:dunno:I don't know how or why it's saying that, but I do know that last night with Sensi on, and calibrated, the Evlution and paint....the ROF hit 28 and you get a message "XX BPS you are off the scale" I think it's off the scale because the highest you can adjust the ROF to with Sensi off is 25 (and then it's only possible to hit 24). I think the LDS is what makes the difference.

LDS is Load Detection System...what it does it adjusts the ROF based on how fast your hopper is feeding the marker with Sensi on. That's how you're able to get faster ROF's with Sensi on than with it off.

Yeah Emmit, that was me hitting 28 the other day. I haven't been able to hit it again, yet. However, I am getting an average between 20-25 BPS every time I've played with it. It shoots around 19 very very easily. I have no idea where our 28's came from becuase other from that first night that we hit it three times, I haven't gotten it again.

PbMatt - I've been hitting 25 with a Halo B. My first one was TE, and now I have a Z-Code one.

Dye - I would recommend either a Halo B or an EvoII for your 4, anything else would have no chance keeping up.

I have a question about the 28bps. How can a marker fire 28bps at peak when the performance of a Halo b is 22bps or Egg II is 17bps? Are you guys going by what the marker says or are you actually putting it over a chronograph?

All I am saying is even though your finger MIGHT hit the trigger 28 times, is there actually 28 balls coming out every second? I was just asking is there any other way to judge this? Like a seperate chronograph readings or Slow-motion video of this?

The real reason I ask this is because I remember some people saying that with Timmy's, or some other electo-marker, their board tells them the same but can't truely get that high.

Its all in the way the board measures max BPS. In paint markers today, they don't actually measure how many balls in one second that you shoot. It will measure the time interval between balls or a few balls. So if you have a few balls that a very very close together, it will measure that time interval, and read out how many balls per second that could be. They don't measure a full second, but only a fraction of it. So you don't need to sustain 28 BPS for a full second in order for it to register, its just a short time interval that it measures.

I hope that clears things up a little bit. Yeah that kind of reading is a little cheap, but the marker still flies, faster than anything else I have ever seen.

I guess WDP changed the full second ratio in the software to be able to say it can fire 31bps.

If an iR3 can fire 19 or 20 bps. How much faster could the A4 fire and not have the egg II and Halo B fail to feed fast enough? Maybe 1 or 2, if any at all.

i think i've figured out how the gun shoots 28 bps. On the a4 w/ the sensi on, if you are not using any paint and fire a couple of shots. The sensi will just goto bypass till paint is used and fire up to 31 bps. I did this and dry fired the gun at 28 bps.

This wasn't the case w/ the speeds. If you dry fired the gun w/ sensi on, it will just fire after the set delay between each shot.

So far my record w/ paint is only 19 b/c i don't really care to use sensi so i just set my mrof at 20 so i don't outshoot my halo b.

the Speed is supposed to be capable of 30bps, however you will never know exactly what your shooting as it doesn't give you a peak anywhere to look up.
